The seat is hard as a rock and massively uncomfortable on long journeys.

    Below is my solution.

It is an amusing and ironic juxtaposition of Americana.

    What size is your seat?
Mine is large and at 6'5" and 215lbs I find it EXTREMELY comfortable with the exactly right support in all the right places.
It is indeed very thin and firm but not uncomfortable in any way,I would rather seat in that one then my wife's Flying Spur that gives me cramps after just 0.5 hour.

The two rather large known problems are: the price -and- the lack of numbers produced. :(

Does anyone know the total number of production? Sorry - may be a bit off topic.

My biggest problem with the Scuderia is that there isn't enough time in the day to drive it. Ferrari should offer an 8th day of the week as an option for this car!!

My only problem at present time is the lack of snow tyres for the Scud.

We didn't have a choice of seats here in the US, I believe they are all large for us fat Americans. Maybe XL just for the US...

I'm much smaller than you, and don't have much meat on my tailbone, so it gets pretty uncomfortable after 1hr.

You don't like the $9 Linens'n'Things "going out of business" sale country-kitchen seat cushion turned into a Scud SeatMaster(TM)?

Too bad, I was going to buy their entire inventory and provide a valuable and profitable service to Scud owners worldwide by having the Prancing Horse sewn onto the cushion and then re-marketing them. I guess I'm going to have to re-evaluate my business plan.

Seriously, I'm looking into the medical field, for thin gel-based pads for wheelchairs and the poor people who have to sit in them all day and not get pressure sores..

What I've just done is adjusted the seat, which so far after an hour's drive is a lot more comfortable.

In the picture is visible the seat adjusting bracket, and there is a similar "4 holes and bolt" front and rear, although the front is hidden in shadow. I raised the fronts all the way but left the rears down low, to rake the seat backwards. This has the effect of putting more of my weight on the seatback and less on my butt, and so far it's more comfortable. I may try position 3 in front, because the seat was pushing a bit into my thighs. Still, I had full circulation after an hour, so that's good.

The seat should come out of the car for this adjustment to be done.

The heater is crap - you need to run the car for ~10 minutes to clear ice off the glass
The fuel gauge shows nearly empty when the car is very cold

Before you say these are just with my car, I never had these problems with my 430 and 2 other Scuderia owners I know have said the same things to me
