    Dear Ferraristi,

I really want to help but I really don't understand what you want to do. Can you be more descriptive?

BTW, the thermostat housing ( unit against the firewall in the center ) does not have any wires coming off it. Are you talking about where the sensors are located on the aluminum tube on the top center of the engine?

    Hi Shamile

Thanks for the reply, the area i am talking about is the Thermister between the alternator and the A/C compressor, it has a number of sensors on it, the wire is the gray and is pointing to the rear of the car, it connects to the water gauge. Is there anyway to get this wire off without removing to many things.

I "think" it's just a spade connector, and should just pull off. With the engine decklid up, while standing just ahead of the rear tire - on either the right or left side of the car, can you look through the decklid rear window area (at the rear edge of the roof) and see the connector? It seems like if you have a long set of needlenose pliers you should be able to get at it....?

    Hi Jeff

It looks that way to me, I need to get an extra long needle nose pliers, but I am afraid I wouldn't be able to get it back on after I get it off.

    Oh.....I get what you're saying.

If you really want to do it right...meaning, cleaning all the connectors "while you're in there". Remove the grill and painted trim panel behind the rear window and you will have lots of access to pull all the spades and clean all the connectors.

I pull the grill and trim, put a towel on top of the engine and lay on top. My head is forward of the engine cover with the leading edge of the painted part of the engine cover....on my neck.

BUT....you do have great access to everything....I even pulled my alt and AC compressor this way.
