A hard lesson I learned when I sold my 911, never sell a car you love! Sounds like you have learned this also Yes, I have the yellow Spider in my profile. Interesting about the first owner, would love to meet him one day. I drive her though, 10,000kms in under a year. Which 355 did you have? Pic's?
He owns it huh? Nice guy, not a bad driver either. Not the guy with the CGT whom i mentioned. CGTs really arn't worth a huge amount, especially not a few months ago when the dollar was so high.
Hi Yeah, the 1st owner Gary, hes a good guy loves cars too and had them all! hes got the new or last years model Bentley Azure convertible at the moment..among other exotics. I think he didnt have alot of time to enjoy the car hence low km's. The pics of my car are all in the old foto album..no digi cam pics maybe I can try to scan a pics and put it up next time. I also had a 1999 F355 Spider, sold it a while ago now. guy hat has it has racked up over 75km's now..uses it well! Great car that was..so easy to use as a every day car. The only ferrari ive owned but still one of the best looking IMO. Cheers S
Hi Hahahah.. thats a very nasty and funny rumuor..Hed be laughing if he knew thats whats been said! He definatley didnt sell the car because of that.. he traded the Ferrari and a Bentley Arnage T roughly around the same time for some other cars, he just wasnt using either as he was always busy. Hes enjoying cars more now as hes cashed up his businesses and become one of NZs richest people! Amazing what gets said about people thats not true haha! Cheers S
His Azure is stunning. Very cool car. What else is he driving? Surely he doesn't have time to drive them, with all the gold he must play.
Is it just me or has Wellington been swamped with nice cars lately? Yesterday I saw 5 Bentleys, 2 Aston DB9s, a white V8 Vantage (At the movies advertising the latest Bond movie) 3-4 Quattroportes, a Maser Coupe and I gave up counting the Porsches after 10. And it wasn't even a nice day yesterday!
Noticed the same thing here. Saw a black gallardo spyder just yesterday down on the wharf. terry's 430 spider was behind the ASB tower. The man who owns the lotus 2-11 was running about. DB9 volante, And a very beautiful 66' shelby gt350 in the weekend.
Front page of yesterday's Waikato Times, going to be a cheap (ish?) 430 Spider coming up very soon. I don't think that will leave Hamilton with many Ferrari's. Took mine to work today, great weather for the top down.
Nice guy, I spoke to him briefly just after buying my 355GTB, he owned 50 odd properties to my knowledge and I guess things didn't go as [planned somewhere along the way. I hope he has a pet he loves, they don't care if you drive a Ferrari or a Scooter. How's Terry?
been sick, since Monday morning, stupid me for the 2 time only i gave him pork, think i put his pancreas under pressure, spent over $500 at the vet, tests all ok. he is a lot better tonight, ate ect and wagged his tail.He is getting old 11yos,great old dog. That's not a nice thing, good to hear he is feeling better though. Yes, I keep a Marine reef and I also have a cat, I'm not a cat person but something bout this one caught my attention and since then he has become a part of my life I will be sad to loose. Pets are great, the make a house a home. We have a family dog, a Lab that is still trucking on, probably her last Christmas this year, but I've been saying that for 2 years now so who knows.
Celebrate the time's you had, be glad you were blessed with their presence, this has always been my feelings. Maybe Terry needs a friend?
na he had a friend Little Arthur who died at 9yos in Sept last year.never has missed his mate, sad. Athur was a wise old dog, gee I miss him.Think of him often. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Arthur is in a better place. That must have been tough with what you were going though at the time. Terry wants a new friend.
had a very bad heart, spent his last months to and from the vet 3/4 times a week.He died with no fuss just fell asleep.died a month before I found out i had Mr C.Some ways it was good timing
