well surprise, surprise...i like it. however, that's a lotta tan inside and, IMO, it misses the black inserts in the seats and on the doors.
the US sidemarkers on the rear quarters were also poorly positioned but, again, just my opinion and not a huge deal. i happen like the aluminum louver up front although it should be matte black, no ? to the eye,the 415's really are the right wheel for the car.

if it is current and has a solid service history then i think it would be very, very well bought at that price. it's so much car for the money.

    bad tranny

1982 400i auto in Green (nice color) $24.5k
Here is a 1982 400i that has been garaged kept. The vehicle has 25k miles on it.
Starts and runs beautifully. Green with palomino interior. Muffler system was redone when I purchased the car in 2003. Comes with straight pipes, cat converter and orginal muffler system. There are the minor issues: Driver window needs adjustment, passenger door only opens from the inside. Car is not registered as I have had no time to drive it. This car runs perfect. Can email more pictures on request.

I always liked that yellow one and seriously considered buying it several months ago. It was getting its rear leveling suspension worked on and it took 6 months. I think they also worked on the leather just above the gauges in front of the steering wheel rim too it had been torn there. Initially it was offered at $23.9k... I like it even more now that all those things are taken care of...

That red one in need of "injector service" has been available for nearly a year and looks pretty sad in pics... might be bad pics, but I am guessing "injector service" would be only the tip of a very large iceberg on that car!

Love to hear more about all of these. Oh, I like that green one too! Very unique color!
