    Correct. Still owned by E.W...

Considering all the great cars he has owned interesting to see this one is still there.

Yes, and inside page 1 (white sheet), on the bottom, you will find the factory print number 350/85.

I have a question about the tires.
Which tires do you drive on the 288 GTO? The Goodyear NCT won't be produced any more?
And these are 265/50 ZR16, but I looked on certain internet sites, but can't find any fitting tires.
Does someone drive 255/50 ZR16? Are these okay too, or are there any problems??
    Greetings Bobo

PS: No racing tires, just normal road tires :)

I have never seen an answer to this but as the GTO was designed as a group B Rally car, logically that means ferrari intended to go rallying, is this true or am i missing something? I cant imagine a supercar being thrown around a forest stage.

The first 200 production GTOs were the Homologation Series so this car (below, the Evoluzione) could go Rallying in Group B.

    But Group B was canceled...

Id say the first 200 production cars built to meet Homologation mandates are pretty special. The other 72 are also special, because they were sanctioned by Enzo Ferrari himself, I have read...

A few years ago I bought a fender shield. After comparing it with a picture of a fender shield of a 430, I thought it was fake.
But since it was for sale at the shop since 1995, it could only be GTO, F40 or F50 or FAKE.

So can you guys provide me a good picture of a real 288 GTO fender shield so I can compare it with the on I have?

This is the one I have, real or fake?

From what I can see, it looks real. (If I'm proven wrong, it's certainly one of the better fakes I've seen.)

I'm assuming that it does have threaded "posts" on the back. If not, then it's certainly fake.

It has 3 threaded posts and it has the curve of the fender. The F40 shield has no curve I think, this is why I think it's from a GTO.

Here's 54235 in good company (0820) at Dijon on the 18th June 1986. At the time both owned by Albert Obrist.

Do you have the name of the original movie?

I got it from an approx 20min addition to a Marks & Spencer DVD on Ferrari from 7 or 8 years ago. It feels like it a short version.

Does anybody know how long Joe Sackey's ban is for? Permanent?
