This is just a question based on my personal wish list. There are five cars i want made in 1/18 more than anything. So i was just wondering what others thought of the chances of any of theses cars being made. There are good reasons to hope for them all, and yet there are reasons to assume we will never see any of them. What do you guys reckon?

    The cars are ;

    1) Cizeta V16t , chances for - the only exotic italien road going supercar from the 90s not yet reproduced in 1/18
somehow seems inevitable that someone will make it oneday. Rare extreme exotic.
chances against - Unknown to many people, styling a little over the top for some peoples taste, looks similar to
a Diablo, which has already been modelled.
    2) Aston Martin Vantage Zagato, chances for - An Aston Martin, in its day was considered up there with the Ferrari 288 GTO and Porsche 959, Rare collector car.
chances against - an unknown and unloved Aston that many people find ugly.
    3) Jaguar XJR15, chances for - An attractive exotic super car from the 90s, a Jaguar, one of the few gorgeous Jaguars
    to have not been modelled.
chances against - Another unknown car amongst many, not technically a road car or even a Jaguar,
Seeing as it was actually a Jaguarsport vehicle from Tom walkinshaw.
    4) Dauer 962 , chances for - The longtime record holder for a road going supercar 250+mph, An extreme
    Porsche based car,
chances against - Not a true Porsche, again Dauer a little known marque amonst the general public.
    Not a true production car.
    5) SSC Ultimate Aero, chances for - The current holder of the fastest car title, An American vehicle, so of potential
interest to American manufacturers of diecast. a current production car.
chances against - Another manufacturer unknown to the general public, many see the car as very
Ugly, with a kit car like build quality.

well what do you reckon id be interested in your thoughts , do you think we will ever see any of the cars i've listed above? I know there are no Ferraris on the list but they all get made!

WE need a cheaper 1/18 Ferrari F50 GT1, can't wait for the 330P4 in coupe form. Also a better detailed Porsche 1998 GT1.

I'm with you on the Cizeta V16t and the Jaguar XJR15 and I would also love the F50GT. I will believe that Mattel is doing the F40LM when I see it (but would like Kyosho to do it anyway) and also a nice Lamborghini Jalpa (I think Kyosho will do this as they are doing the Urraco!).

i had both maisto 1/18 SE30, purple and red, sold both of them years ago when i downsized my model car collection.

these days, i rather pay good $ even up to $400 for a excellent, rare collectable than buying up toys. Quality over quantity imo. but I do miss the purple one tho, should have sold the red and kept the purple one :(

Of course in my dreams id like all my desired models to be made by either Kyosho or autoart, but realistically id rather have a cheap manufacturer do one than no one atall do it, after all i wouldnt have; a Saleen s7, a Bugatti Eb110, A Pagani zonda, Jaguar xj220, Vector w8,.... in fact the list is endless. If i refused to buy the cheaper models and only stuck to the quality manufacturers.

I'm mostly hanging out for the Cizeta !! heres hoping.

never even consider the Cizeta ( that would be awesome )

    M list would be :

    1 Ferrari 400 2+2
    2 Ferrari Breadvan
3 Ferrari 375 MM Ingrid Bergmann car
    4 mborghini Islero
    Lamborghini Urraco
    BMW M1 and Z1 too :)

    *********************************************************************

even tho RICKO RICKO isn't an expensive brand , I wouldn't call the Vecor W8 a cheap model  neither their 25th Anniversary Countach

Minichamps do a few versions of the BMW M1. I have the Procar Cassani 1979 and the Le Mans 1981 versions and they are both great models.
