    We just moved into our own building and we are looking to provide soda and snacks for our tenants. Does anyone know where we can get them, or has some for sale ??? NEED ASAP (and NO they do not have to be red ; )

    Contact someone with a vending route. They will typically provide everything, and give you a cut of the proceeds. Much better/easier than trying to buy and manage it yourself. To get someone, go to a few places that have the machines and get the phone numbers off the stickers for the vendors.

    From now on if you go to visit JP and RobertM at their office - you will need to bring quarters for any snacks, soda or coffee you might want while visiting. Don't you know ... he Real Estate business is S L O W!

    FWIW, I take bills for snacks and coffee, but charge double and don't give change. The car storage business is also S L O W.

    got to be smart in todays market, we haved a 25,000 building consisting of a mixture of executive suites and offices. cash is king. even if it will be in quarters ; )

    We can always give you a cut of what you bring in off the sign that you can hold (toss) off of Federal. If interested; you can interview / perform your sign throwing (turning) abilities on Tues. : ) now that sh*t is funny.

    When I was 14 there was this kid I met ;) that did vending machines in a hotel on Palm Beach. One of the machines was a cigarette vendor that charged $2.50 per pack (1982), and the operator would go to NC occasionally and buy cigarettes by the carton without the state sales tax stamp. Then they would get loaded into the machine backwards (so the end of the pack that is supposed to be stamped is not facing the viewing window). The cartons were about $3-4 each in NC ($10-12 locally), making a good margin. Tough times...

    If you want to stock one brand of drinks just contact the local bottler (Coke or Pepsi). They will supply the machine if you buy their product exclusively. MY neighbor's brother was the vending machine rep (last I heard) for Pepsico in Palm Beach County. If you call them and Tim McDulin is the guy you are talking to, mention that Scott McDulin is my neighbor. It is a good job to manage for your kids once they are at least 10 years old. You learn about profit, accounting, supply an demand, most of the basics of economics.

    sams club used to sell them; haven't seen them in the store, but still likely available through commercial catalog. or most local vendors will provide one if they keep the quarters.

    Suggestion: for a whole slew of reasons, POV pricing should be reasonable, not hand-over-fist.
