    Jim,

This is an amazing thread, I never tire of reading and contemplating it and your words of wisdom.

Watching the Targa Florio video and the duel with the Chapperal, Have you ever had the notion of adding a Chevy Chapperal to your collection? It would kinda make it the "Holy Triity?" I know you have enough with just the P 4/5.

    SEASONS GREETINGS...Paolo

Jim Hall still owns all of them? Understandable. Thought of the current Le Mans Champions, the AUDI R10 turbodiesel V 12's? Audi, as cancelled it's ALMS participation. They will only race at Le Mans, this year, this is what I have read.

    Ciao...Paolo

No offense but you guys are pretty old. Lol. (It was a joke :D) Hey Jim, saw you on that documentary about the Auto Union "Worlds most expensive car" or something along the lines of that. Nice work sir.

I saw this--a wonderful show for people that love cars.

What was the final verdict on the Auto Union? Was it a problem in documenting the race history?

Given the rarity of the car if it was just a matter of "race history" how much could it effect the value? And why hasn't been offered again?
P.S. Loved your star turn on the show.
