Top Gear Season 12 episode 6 Thoughts?

Just finished up watching season 12 episode 6 of top gear and I can honestly say the Ford Fiesta test is one of my favorite top gear segments! What did everyone else think of the episode?

 

Didn't even know it was out yet!

 

I watched the first ten minutes or so of the episode on the Tube of You, with the Veritas and the Caterham. The lap the Stig did in the Seven was fun to watch, and looked to be fun to drive. I imagine on a warmer day it could have gone to the top of the board! Haven't seen the rest of the episode yet, though.

 

the caterham look nuts on the track.... looked like so much more fun than most supercars they put around the track.
and yeah the focus review was amazing, especially the final scene... that was epic

 

Just finished watching it. All in all a very good episode!

Loved the Focus bit too, especially when they're doing the landing and all hell is breaking loose and out of no where he goes.. " Excellent carpets...!" LOL!

 

I'm just shocked that Caterham have managed to convince people that the 18x10^10 versions of the Lotus 7 they've made are all different.......

Is the Fiesta green? Yes, VERY!

 

I didn't know the Mayor of London was a stand up comic. They talked to him for a long time, his track time was just an afterthought.

Overall I thought it was one of their weaker episodes this season.

 

The ending of the episode was pretty nice as well as the caterham part but the rest of it was lacking. Expecially after the episodes to start the season.

 

I found the mayor's voice very funny! Along with the fact that he was totally BSing half the stuff he said

 

I remember a member here posted a link a week or two ago to a website that had all the Top Gear episodes on it - I would love if anyone has the link and would post it again. It's rather hard to watch outside of the UK...

 

I use a different website (can't find the one you're talking about, although I know I saw it before) but www.sidereel.com has a very good list.

It was kind of nice not hearing from Clarkson due to him losing his voice, LOL.. For the performance vs Cost that 7 is alot of car. IMO

I thought it was an epic episode. The royal marines bit was intense, now that's an advert if I ever saw one!

 

Yea, I thought it was a strong episode! One of the better ones for the season.

Am i the only one who didnt like it then?

I keep hoping for them to do one of those epic road trips again (lambo, porsche and aston, finding the best road in the world for instance). S12e6 was the worst in a long time imo.

 

I would love another epic car race or something!! I love those long challenges.
