    As a Ferrari guy and also a guitar player/collector I have gotten hold of a new guitar that compliaments my passion for Ferraris , its a 1985 Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop in FERRARI RED which was an option color offered only in 1985 based on a promotional agreement between Gibson and Ferrari no one will be surprised that the option price for the color was a significant upcharge from any other color available. However I now have a connection between my hobbies, thought you guys may be interested in seeing the color.

    On another forum a thread was generated with questons regarding the passion of Ferrari's. A symetry was discussed between our favorite marque and the arts. The thread further broke down the arts into differant catagories such as Physical and Emotional arts. What came from that discussion was truely prophetic. Nearly every single post expressed a serious interest in the emotional arts, specifically musical. And to each of those respondants an affinity to the guitar was clearly established. As it turns out, guitarists, regardless of the musidal gendre, are Ferrari Efficionado's.

    Guitarista = Ferrarista

    To me...That just seems proper.

    BTW...Sweet Gibby

    I have a Jackson, a Yamaha, an Ibanez, a Mitchell and I play none of them particularly well.

    Yes, I have an amazing collection at this point. I play professionally and have for a long time. I have been fortunate enough to grab some crazy guitars over the years. Several 50's and 60's les pauls, strats, tele's, gretsch, pre war Martin's, etc.....I love them all and play them all.

    COOL! 58' Les Pauls are killer! I almost bought a 57' the other day but Im waiting till the prices drop further. It's insane how much they are dropping right now.
    The holy grail (1959 Les Paul standard) is the one guitar I don't have that I would LOVE To own. My buddy paid 300K for one this year. I know of some that went for 500K
    that had crazy flamed tops. At the rate things are dropping Im hoping to get a 59' under 150K within 12 months. I have a 59' 335 that would blow your mind! It's such a
    killer guitar.

    You and me both, Dave.

    They should've given the guitar's color its own name. Like Rosso Lennon or Rubino Rabin or Corsa Malmstein.
