just arrived. make a low ball offer is the word...but the source wasn't very reliable. there are a few other stories about it too.
As PP mentioned, just come up for sale. Make a LOW ball offer and drive her away mate. Im sure you have been reading all about them in the 430 section? It is the BEST Ferrari yet!! I have not seen one bad report/comment on it yet.
i drove one, felt the same as a norm 430 until you put the foot down, then it changed. serious freight but perhaps desperate times mean desperate measures for the seller?
Wow! Same as the 430? Interesting. From what I have read from owners with them, they are A LOT better than their 430. Faster, handles A LOT better and noiser. There are some that use them daily, but most prefer not too cause they reckon it is such a harsh ride?? It is serious coin mate, but no harm in making a ridiculous offer. Ya just never know.
sorry...seriously...i can't say what i've heard. if you have an interest in the car, there's definitely nothing wrong with it or anything, but there are stories about it which might be of interest to the purchaser to help with the price. looks gorgeous too.
i assume the buyer has walked away, and the dealer has kept the deposit which i guess would be around $25k, prob more.
Thats probably why the car is 'reasonably' priced at $599K. Wasnt Tony's Scud coming in at around $608K?? That or this yellow Scud has no options?? Rog, offer them $500K, tell em to take it or leave it.
options from the pics look like stripe, alcantara trim on the seats. carbon wheel with LED lights, radio, can't tell what else. wonder if it's blue toothed and i-poded up?
I tell ya what Rog. Ill be your, yaw, you're, yor broker. Ill call these fools and get you that car at $500K. And cause we're mates, I will only charge ya 20%. Yeah, dunno mate? Is alcantra an option? I thought thats just how they came? Leather normally then eh??
cloth on the seats as stock, alcantara is an option and the only way to fly if you ask me. the dash is stock alcantara. the egyptian has a thread on here somewhere all about it.
i have a theory about people not taking their scuds. (or other ferraris) Some of the showponies (rhymes with show tony) probably were buying them with only one thing in mind...get the fame and cred, then bail after a short time without losing too much. Anyone I know who's getting one for the RIGHT reasons is still getting it or has already got it and is keeping it long term. No one with a brain expects to buy a car like this and not lose a significant amount of money over a number of years.... until recently a show off could buy one for a few months and sell it for close to what they paid. IMO that's a person buying for the badge and someone who can't really afford the purchase. The true enthusiast will buy it because they want to, KNOWING that, like with all cars, there will be depreciation which is just a part of new car ownership.
360 with 70,000 km on the clock for AU $87K. Car is over in the UK, of course. http://www.classicdriver.com/uk/find/4100_results.asp?sorderby=tblManufacturers%2EsName+ASC%2C+tblModels%2EsModel+ASC%2C+bOfficial+DESC%2C+tblCars%2EsType+ASC&spriceoperator=less&action=simple%5Fsearch&coopid=0&lmanufacturer=10042&lcurrency_currencychangeform=20&lcurrency=20&next=4100%5Fresults%2Easp&dealerid=0&lseller=1&smilageoperator=less&lauctionmanufacturer=10042&bsubmit=true&lmodelflag=12196&bclicked=false&ldrive=1&size=20&bshowstock=Wahr&lresultsperpage=20&lcompetitionmanufacturer=10042&lprice=0&lvat=1&page=1&lmilagetype=1&lCarID=1772162
