Inspiring to see an F40 used to this extent. Wonder if it is the highest milage F40 in the US? A vote of confidence to the Ferrari boys in Chi-town and the proud owner for keeping it as prestine as the pics display. Thanks for posting. Motor on!

Great to see an F40 with 47,000 miles. Doing what these cars are meant to do...be DRIVEN! Great pics, thanks for sharing! :)

47,000 miles, it's tracked, and it still looks pristine. See it CAN be done!

Owner is a great guy, the consummate enthusiast. He and his wife both drive the heck out of it...and keep it in the finest fettle (so good in fact, that it won platinum at the FCA Nationals in 2007 with 48k miles on the clock !)

He also has a minty 333sp which he drove expertly on the track...well enough to be awarded a coveted Coppa GT award for a car that scores above 95, is 100% funtional during a mechanical test, and finally, is driven with proficiency on the track. It is the ultimate award handed out at the Nationals.

A lot of background info, but bottom line just a great person. He's a smart fella too (one of those dime a dozen neurosurgeons....:))

^^^ thats's what I've been told. I only met him once for a tiny bit at LFSC during the F1 championship, thats when and where the pics were taken but I'd love to go to the track with him some day and get pics/videos of any of his cars on the track.

And that refers to the Quattroroute test that isn't really known well in the USA. It was the best verified F40 top speed test, 202.5 mph. Impressive....
