Like everyone else... one leg at a time. Technique demonstrated with stand in Bugatti in earlier pic.

CTS have two 'glass 308's White car 56000k = $99995 Azzurro Metallic car 97000k =$115000 Q. Because of the colour? Q. Can someone explain if Australian cars have the dry sump? Continually I read that they don't, that only UK cars do but, I continually see Aust cars advertised as Aust delivered and having the dry sump!
IMO only a couple came in new with dry sump, years ago Ron Hodgson had one. PM ,PP or 360C they would know.
No Australian delivered 308 glass car was dry sumped. However, there were some personal imports in period that came in (UK spec) and of course, many more have come in over the years.
The colour does have a bearing on the price. AFAIK the euro RHD / LHD drive Fibreglass cars are all dry sump, but the LHD USA spec fibreglass cars are wet sump ( dual distributor setup - no room for dry sump tank). I believe the Aussie delivered 'glass cars were all dry sump, as well as many of the Aussie steel GTB's . After '78/79 they were all steel / wet sump / dual distributor. In the 70's it was common for Australians to arrange for European delivery to bypass the import quota restrictions and reduce the duty payable, hence a few UK spec cars made it out here at that time. It doesn't really matter where it was delivered, as long as the spec/ condition is OK Personally, I reckon the pick of the 308's is either a 1976-77 Euro spec 'glass GTB , or an 1986-87 328 GTB. M
Well the Hodgson car had a late chaasis number for a 76 car. Is it possible that 20 or so cars were private imports from U.K.
