    One claim seems wrong. "Less chance of aquaplaning"
    When there are four tires taking the front loads, each tire should have about half of the downforce, and therefore more likely to hydroplane???

    Unless, the tires have less width(not sure whether they do on this car or not). So it has the same downwards force, and the front tire is cutting a path for the tire behind it.

    Correct. Read an article many years ago about an F1 prototype car that never raced, a 6 wheeler design. Engineers were happy to discover the rear end did not aquaplane due to what you just described.
