They should not have turned that bid down!

We have one in Austin in Carrera GT silver that has like 26 miles on it! YEA, TWENTY SIX! Maybe less than that. They off loaded it from its delivery truck into the garage that it now lives in! The guy pushes it back and forth in the garage and starts it from time to time. He also has a 430 Spyder with not quite so insanely low miles on it.

If you have never heard a CGT exhaust... Do yourself a favor and avoid EVER hearing one...once you have heard it everything else just pales by comparison! Even the symphony of a 430 Scud can't compare to a CGT! AMAZING sounding cars!

Don't they ALL have straight pipes?! LOL! I tell you, there is not much room between the engine and the exhaust tips, I can't imagine any of them have MUCH of a muffler, but no I have not heard one with straight pipes...that must be an INSANE noise, or music depending on your perspective.

Straight pipes sound incredible, but I'd never put them on mine. I'd consider a GMG or Tubi system though.

Have you driven one? I found clutch a bit strange. I also had no sensation of speed in it. It is very fast but is so smooth that it felt slow.

Amazing car- should probably buy it, but I'm playing to the 'new' economy right now and frugalizing. I got to drive one at the P facility in Alabama (Barber Museum track) a few years ago. Hurley Haywood also took me out for some hot laps. I agree with Jim that the clutch is a little strange when starting out- but it is just binary/hardwired when moving along. I got nowhere even close to the potential of this car and don't have the skills to do so. The C GT was, mechanically, the best car i've ever driven.
Black on black is a wonderful look for this car.

Recently had the pleasure of taking a black one out for a spin and while the clutch is something to get used to, it certainly isn't and shouldn't be a concern when considering the purchase of this machine.

As modern Porsches go, this is the most visceral machine you will experience. The sounds of the mechanicals and the exhaust note is intoxicating. Bill hit the nail on the head in that this is the ONLY car I have ever driven (I'm been lucky to drive many of every make and model) whereas you should not attempt to push the envelope without practice and the skill needed to control it. It's a monster on the road and a true exotic in terms of overall driving experience and visual impact.

If you have the means...I highly recommend it.

Our buddy Tom Hnatiw from Dream Car Garage says the CGT is his favorite production car out there right now. He has driven a few, have you let him drive the P4/5 yet? He might change his mind.

Having been in both the Enzo and CGT, the CGT was the Luxo Super Car! The one I would use for long distance Tourning. In comparison to the NNO it had every luxury and the removable roof which can be stored up front was a great bonus. I think that even at full retail price the CGT was the greatest Super Car Bang For The Buck Value out there! And yes... the sound is to die for. I do not like P Cars Much at all... but this one is from a different world!
