Super Cars Exposed Blows!

What is it about Super Cars Exposed that makes it almost impossible to set through a single episode? Believe me I've tried four times and can't do it! And whats the history on Tanner Foust? Can't say I dislike him, just can't take him serious! Top Gear is so far ahead of this series its not funny, so what makes this show such a joke?

 

Ive seen only two episodes,and i agree.
But i did like when had the lowriders and the exotics chill.

I love old impala's the old way. before the 22'S,and airbags.
Hydros all the way,Low and slow.

 

I agree with both of you........The show has so much potential to showcase some fine cars, and cutting edge technology.

But it falls flat, its somehow missing an "edge". The producers/writers seem to off the mark with this show. Too bad.

 

"Blows" is putting it lightly. That show is almost as bad as "100 cars you must drive." Absolutely unwatchable.

What's wrong with me? I kind of liked it. Maybe because it comes on late at night here and I always go to sleep before it ends.

 

I am with the group that thinks the show sucks.

 

Oh Man! don't get me started about how I feel about the speed channel as a whole! I would almost rather stab myself in the eye with a fork!!

Theres a shop here in town we deal with that "claims" they have had to re due" a bunch of will Castro work.

I think the show could have been a lot better without Foust and his "acting." It does have a great showcase of cool cars, though.

 

+1 to that, Tanner is going to be on the American Top Gear

 

Well the guy does have about a $300M net worth, not surprising.

But the show, yeah I was excited to see it at first but what a let down. Foust can drive, but they just dont do the show right. Seems like they are trying too hard to NOT be a Top Gear/Fifth Gear copy (problem is, we'd be fine with it if it was, am I right?).

 

They're not his. This has been discussed extensively.

 

Is TV delayed by a year in Montana? The only thing worse than SCE is SCE re-runs!!

What's wrong with it is that it's on SPEED. They are catering to a different audience than the readers of this forum, and certainly not to owners of the cars they showcase.

Let's run down the other shows on SPEED:

For me, it's Tanner Foust's voice the just irritates the heck out of me. Whenever he says "Let's see what this puppy can do", I just want to puke.

I agree, this show is/was/has been terrible. It's amazing that any show that features beautiful, exciting cars can be so dull and even stupid. Can't stand it and don't mind saying so.

I do not like Tanner Foust at all. He is a drifter, that is all. He thinks he is some racing God and he just drifts every car he drives. Pretty darn annoying. I do enjoy Dream Car Garage, but I HATE Tim Gnawtiw (the fat idiot) on the show. I miss Victory by Design shows, anything with Bob Varsha, Alain DeCadenet and Peter Hobbs are good.

 

Well put, Speed has become a disaster. I was thinking of canceling it, but for F1 I would. It was such a great concept and station when it first appeared. You had Saturday Night Drive in with all the good old car flicks. Victory by Design was fantastic, and as you said anything with Varsha, DeCadenet and Hobbs was excellent.
