the exhaust now has a cleaner and higher pitched tone... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5AypyhcqJyk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfPwCujQ7VY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DBl1QBYg5w http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8dP-m4sfJc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdI3FwiAwR4
Kreisseig all the way. Their exhaust note is exceptional, man that sounds good. I wonder how much that costs? $$$$$
+1, was about to say that... The Scud's stock sound is nicer than this one... Let's suppose I had the Kreisseig installed on my Scud and a man passed next to me with his F360 also with Kreisseig exhaust. We would sound the same only that I maybe a bit louder! Stock sound all the way!
Hving owned both the CS and the Scuderia.. I have to admit that the CS exhaust note is a lot more aggressive, piercing and distinctive.... not to say the Scuderia has a poor sound. If I could replicate the CS sound on the Scuderia that would be ideal. I don't think the Kreissieg exhaust will get me there.
I am surprised how they changed Scuderia sound. These guys realy have great skills to make perfect exhausts. I would never say that such F1 sound can come from Scuderia. However i agree with some others, not sure if this fits Scud. Beautiful F1 like tone but for me its just too clean. I would welcome more shrill, more violence in that sound, it should kick some asses. The sound on videos is just too clean. I would love to hear it in person.
Believe it or not I think the Kriessieg videos of a regular 360 might sound better than the Scuderia ...
Its noticable also from videos that 360 Kreissieg sounds better. It was said many times but in terms sound (and regular Ferraris) winner is 355 than 360 than 430. Exhaust can do it better but will not beat that if the other car will have same.
Do these kreissieg exhausts actually sound anything like they do in their videos. Do they really have that trumpeting siren pitch up top or is it audio editing bull? It just seems weird that all the other top exhausts sound somewhat similar on the same model car (i.e. believably different), yet the Kreisseig makes this magic scream. Their exhausts don't seem to be a radically different design.. the valves open up allowing a straight-out-the-back muffler bypass, right? I doubt the optional titanium construction is the reason.
Agree it sounds too good to be true. Most of the videos is shooted in Japan (left driving). I wanted to buy one but finally end up with Capristo, because i could not find anyone who have it installed and who can confirm that its real. That time i could not find anyone, however today some guys here can confirm at least for 360 that it sounds great. And i believe them. But still would love to hear it in person. Its just unbelievable how they changed the Scuderia sound.
"Sounds great" is one thing, sounds like the video is another. I believe that it probably sounds pretty good, but a while back I seem to remember someone here saying that these exhausts really don't sound like their videos. Before spending the kind of money they want for one of their titanium systems, I think most buyers would want to know for sure that it delivers on the video's promise. Spending $10K on an exhaust which, in reality, sounds no better than a competitor's $5K system would be a major disappointment. I'm sure the Ti version's weight savings is probably real, but still.
This is exactly how i was thinking that time. So bought Capristo for almost half of price and i am very satisfied. I still have opinion that Kreissieg is amazing however you can achieve similar results with cheaper systems if you chose the right ones.
Here is a 355 with an MS Racing exhaust for comparison http://www.catsspeed.co.jp/test/FR_Parts/cs_sound/ikezawa_01.html
I am NOT a fan of anything aftermarket on a Ferrari...BUT I must say, that THAT is one aftermarket item I WOULD put on a Ferrari...especially the Scuderia. AWESOME sound! -G.B.
they have the best exhaust note of the aftermarket players, even if the competition rumor is true that they doctor the audio on these videos...having heard it in person it is true to its sound. the scuderia should not be a clean purr, but more of a violent raspy explosion, a la f40.
