btw, its also great for protecting leather steering wheel rims. Once it dries, there's no sticky or slimy residue. I used Connelly cream once in my Benz and the wheel felt awful for months.
Get a kevlar front spoiler made while you're at it - it won't break as easily as the fibreglass ones.
Just called the local Horsey shop. They dont stock Coachline. NEVER heard of it apparently. They have Oxenford and some other crap Gee-bing????? Something like that, but they cant confirm if its similar to Coachline. Just looked online, couldnt find any suppliers. Can anyone give me a phone number as to where I can get some from please?
the best thing my car could have put in it is a sense of direction !!! I can get lost even in my own backyard ...
Nope. Gotta have neatsfoot oil. My spelling mistake, its actually Coachaline. Can't find a supplier on Google, but I've seen it on the shelf at more than one saddlery (I used to do dressage - you have to spend hours cleaning saddles and bridles). I'll look at my tin tonight and post the manufacturer's name.
Both Chris Allan and B&B Produce have sold it to me for my harness. So it should be available if you're in Lismore. Could send a tin if you don't find it elsewhere.
The Coachline,Ian uses is as good as you will get.Ray puts on the Daytona leaves a nice look. For the old Bentley I use Connolly hide food,a pain but it works, but leaves a film/stain. For a modern car or your type car I would ty McGuires food. R.M Williams have agood saddle soap product. or the vasaline by Renapur. If you have light trim be carful of stains. or if the seats have been painted like in my BB be very carful of the product pulling the paint off.
I have used Meguiars on my 348 and it is CRAP!! I used it once or twice and havent touched the bottle since. Its still full collecting dust on the shelf at my brothers place. I would be better off using some of my man cream on my seats to get a better protectant than that Meguiars crap!
each to their own my RR's are like new. The Meguiars cleans well. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Oh, I can imagine its good stuff. But im not sure about being a good thing for my car or JM's car!! The leather must just be too old or something!! I applied it on twice and it was a greasey mess. Didnt seem to do much but make me slip around the seat for 2 mins afterwards. Leather still looks and feels the same. Also, in your pic....its RM Williams product. Is that what you use in that car or Meguiars??
Jimbo, you have to wipe the Meguires off the seat, its all I put into the RR,Williams product goes on the dash. Try the Connollys, but ..... apply, put the car in the sun then the following day wipe the balance off. All these products need to be rubbed into the seats not just allowed to sit on top of the leather.
other products Jimbo. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This stuff is very good and very inexpensive. Really softens up the leather. Cheers, Bob. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
