    So this isn't the first time this has happened to you? I currently have two cats (inherited) & they do get into everything. Btw, this is another excellent reason I don't do Xmas trees.

    We have 8 house cats, and two Christmas Trees....

    *sigh*

    But only one is a climber, and I specifically told him not to...

    Had one until a couple of months ago when on the hill next to our house we found 3 kittens, who'se mom we think got killed orso as she wouldnt come back...

    They where no older than a month at the time, so we had to feed them ourselfs.

    They're pretty cool, dont destroy things (only the christmas tree lol) and actually listen to their name. The other cat, fatty as we call him (male cat) plays with them too, which is weird because normally male cats dont do this apperently.

    We were going to give them away but because they're so nice we cant. :D

    We've had three batches of cats.

    Two in the first batch, 1980-'92, three in the second, '92-2005, three in the third, 2005-now.

    The current ones are amazingly well-behaved, couldn't say that for the others.

    Kuwait isn't anything like Saudi... at a 'Western' style department store called "The Sultan Center" there's a whole section dedicated to Christmas that pops up just after Thanksgiving every year.... trees, lights, ornaments, cards, garland, they've got it all...

    In fact, one of the nice things about being here is that NO ONE is hung up about wishing anyone a Merry Christmas.... Everyone says it... clerks at the stores, Arabs, everyone... none of this Happy Holiday stuff... it's Christmas...!
