    Hey everyone, I know I haven't been around in a while, but I've been pretty busy. Hope everyone is well! Anyway, I passed my Private Pilot checkride last Saturday, so I guess I'm officially in the club! I've been getting some acro time in a Citabria, and when I'm finished with the acro rating, it's on to instrument. I figure that isn't such a bad way to progress, seems logical. Sure is fun!!

    Anyway, how's everyone doing? I'm looking forward to betting back in here and contributing whatever I can.

    Congrats on passing the checkride! Now go get your IFR...you'll be glad you did.

    Agreed! Soloing was a great experience for me. But nothing was better than the first time I shot an ILS approach down to mins; looked up and saw the runway lights. It's an incredible feeling!

    Thanks for the responses, guys! The Instrument rating is coming soon! Actually, I want to get it done VERY soon, so I'll probably set aside a week or two and fly every day and just knock it out. I'll just have to pull myself away from the Citabria long enough to get it done!
