    I am going to change my oil in my 1980 308 to red line and was also considering using their additive which is full of zinc, is this a good ideal? It is a red line additive for new engines or those needing more zinc.

    No ....do not use..its not needed.
    I use Redline 10-40 in my 328...

    Check threads about this....heck check MY name for posts. I specifically spoke to this in one of my posts, wherein I even called Redline.
