I think I have found a bonafide contender to the bacon weave. Your thoughts? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I can feel my cholesterol level raising just looking at that thing! all we need now is a deep-fried twinkie for desert.
Breakfast: The good morning burger http://www.bestweekever.tv/2008/05/09/meet-the-real-life-good-morning-burger-from-the-simpsons/ Lunch: cornbrat (cheese brat made as a corndog would be) Dinner: Deep-fried double quarter-pounder Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have heard double fries called Belgian Fries. Cook them first at a lower temperature to fully cook the potato and set aside to cool or wait. Then right before eating they are fried again at a higher temperature to get a crispy outside. Serve with a side of mayo for dipping. What is the traditional grease to cook these things? Horse fat of course.
My stomach turns just looking at those photos. My system has a hard enough time processing McDonalds. I can only imagine what would happen if I downed one of those...
For the sake of curiosity, I would absolutely love to know the nutrition info on that beauty. I couldn't even hazard a guess...
generally the word nutrition doesn't pair well with the words Beer-Battered, Deep-Fried, Bacon, or Double Quarter Pounder Without the deep frying a double quarter pounder is 730 cal and 45 grams of fat. The deep fried version should come with a side of defibrillator paddles.
Any quarter pounder is just plain wimpy. The BC fried onion, mushroom beast is at least larger (hanging several inches way over the bun) & quite delicious. Needs to be twice as thick to really get my attention. I'll keep my "deep fried" to the potatoes. Just give me the beef flame grilled please. On a breakfast note: Krystal has a great batter deep fried sausage, egg & cheese thing for a buck for a morning snack.
I found the site where the picture came from. No actual recipe given, but you can get the general idea... http://www.danamania.com/burger/
I've had that. A local steak house serves it with chocolate drizzled over. Does it up nice in a frozen cup.
