Chose "Tritone' to honor my other obsession: Riva mahogany speedboats; the Tritone series in particular.
I am restoring the oldest Tritone remaining, and the first Riva to come to the USA.

...and, they are often referred to as the "Ferrari of speedboats".........

Greetings FChat, and here's my first post. My GT4 came "in the mail" recently, but the weather here in Denver has not been cooperative. The alley leading to my house is still pretty icy, and we're expecting snow in the morning, so I still await my first multi-hour drive in the car. I purchased 15302 and simply love it. I'm hoping to find a passenger mirror (see post in Wanted) but the car is basically wonderful: about 16,000 miles on the odometer, well serviced, and a gem. While exoticar ownership always seemed an out of reach dream, the GT4 has always been on my list of top 4 cars that I may possibly someday own. Now, suddenly, there's on in my garage!

I've gleaned enough information from reading the tech section to justify the entire creation and existence of this forum - there is a wealth of information here, and I'm very impressed. I think the level of technical discourse here can be truly impressive, and I look forward to learning more. Off-line, the Fchat folks have already been friendly and generous. What a great place!

When I was in college reading for my nursing, I worked restoring and repairing Fiats, Alfas and Dinos. My business partner was nicknamed AlfaDoc, so I became the FiatRN. It was a fun pun in school and out, became my moniker in the Fiat world when the internet was invented, and has stuck around since. I'll make my avatar a snapshot of the CO license plate on my Fiat 850 Sedan that reads FIATRN when I fix my camera (or borrow one).

    Thanks for existing.
    Jonathan

Ape has been my nickname in musician circles for years. My license plate on my old 911 was "THE APE".....I think primates in general are amazing creatures.
And if you look at my profile pic really close you can see my resemblance.

EROB is a shortening of my name, 599 is pretty obvious, 599 GTB Fiorano. The 599 was my first and best F-car ride so it was my inspiration for being a ferrariphile.

Toggie, what in the HECK is your avitar with that red diamond????

P.S. Have to keep it simple for all of you on here. I know you all drink a great deal (see: PAP), so when you are drunk you will still know who has the sweetest looking Ferrari in the USA. (My initials and I finally own a Ferrari!)
