Hey, that made-in-China lift looks familiar! I chose grey so that I would not lose any nuts and bolts on the black surface when working on the car... Here's my garage. It's rather narrow (10 ft), but plenty long (31 ft) and high (12' 5"). I found that the cheapest decent floor I could put in was this quasi-wooden one. Looks kind of nice, doesn't it? I keep the lift at the front and my workbench at the rear. In the photos it's kind of messy, as I am refurbishing the suspension of my GT4.... Plus it's only been a couple of months since I have this place, so I'm not completely settled in yet... Unfortunately, the garage is some 2 to 3 miles from my home. I live in a house of unknown age (could be dating back to the 1300's) on a canal in the center of an ancient city. Definately no room for a garage here, so I purchased a garage box at the edge of town... Blue GT4 is mine, yellow 328 my girlfriend's... That morning I changed the 21" summer tires for the 18" winter tires On the Cayenne Turbo. They are waiting to be cleaned and stored on the loft.
Hans... I love the Netherlands (more so in the summer of course). You live in a great part of the world. Best, Frank

Rijk, I'm assuming this is your New York home, not the The Hague one nice!!! It's cold here now, around 32F, and very clear skies. No snow. Unfortunately, the airport was closed for Xmas today, or I'd have gone flying....
I love looking at this thread! For those of you who are just trying to keep up with the bills, like myself. Check out my stable! I hope to be driving the GTS next year. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is the best thread on FChat because it's very real. I've come up with a ga-zillion ideas for my own space just by seeing things in this thread. I may even build a freestanding 3 CG with a bonus/game room above. It would be out of character with my neighborhood, but who cares? Best thread I've seen here since I joined. Period. RMX
Love it! I definetly need one of those for a winter project Good luck. You should start a thread about restoring those babies (If you havent already)
Hans, This is our weekend place, with the garage, and the cars. Our NY place is really in Midtown Manhattan. No room for exotics there.....
Sweeeeeet! I love the Spyker too! The father of a friend and fellow FChatter (Spyker007) has one. S/n 007, the actual car that has travelled the world to auto shows before becoming Victor Muller's personal vehicle. Amazing piece of technology!
Hans, Yes, I know Jeffrey also. I met him at a private Spyker factory tour in Zeewolde He regularly posts on the (factory authorized) Spyker Owner website: www.spykerowner.com
Spykers are very beautiful cars, except the back. I often wonder if car designers just get lazy around the back if most cars...
here's mine. old pix some recent updates have been done. the lambo is on top now since i had the garage door adjusted. now i have to figure out a way to put in a 2nd lift on the first bay (ac ducts will not allow me to adjust the garage door up anymore). also i'm thinking of putting tile or epoxy on the garage floor over the summer. Thank you The D90 is unbelievable! I didn't have the time to resize that picture for F-Chat, but from what you can see from CP and Flickr it is working pretty well for me. Happy Hanukah to your family as well!
