http://www.tmz.com/2009/01/02/john-travoltas-son-dies/ Posted Jan 2nd 2009 3:10PM by TMZ Staff Rand Memorial Hospital in the Bahamas tells TMZ the son of John Travolta died today. We're told 16-year-old Jett was vacationing with Travolta and wife Kelly Preston. We do not know the circumstances of his death. There have been reports that Jett was autistic, though Travolta has denied it, saying he suffers from Kawasaki Syndrome, a condition which often leads to heart disease. UPDATE: 4:00 PM ET -- Travolta's attorney Michael Ossi says Jett suffered a seizure at his family's vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful and he died on scene.
Very sad to hear this news!!!! His son was very young. He had his entire life ahead of him. My sincerest wishes to the family for their loss. Thanks, UZY
This is terrible news. I wish their family the best I wouldnt know how I would cope with the loss myself..
very sad, John T is a great guy. Sorry about his first wife, and now this. My prayers go out to him and his family
He has a condo on the west end of grand bahamas island that is about 50 miles due east of Palm Beach. It would be a quick plane ride back to the US. I bet he is just beside himself and I would be too if he was my son. I was there just 3 months ago.
before you feel bad for the family, I think this is a needless death. He was not getting the proper treatment for his condition.
So because an ill person wasn't getting the treatment you thought he should get, no one should feel bad for the family? Ouch!
Terrible thing to hear. I saw a news report that Jett had seizures from time to time and he hit his head on the bathtub. The Travoltas live in a fly-in community in Central FL, they are seen all the time and are always gracious. RIP.
You don't feel badly for his parents? Are you a pimple-faced obnoxious little 16 year old twit? Just asking. I'm appalled by your insensitivity.
LOL. Easy though, he's probably not thinking clearly. He must just be upset at what he thinks was a mis diagnosis or improper treatment.
i have worked on the Gulfstream GII sn82, and was always impressed that there are always drawings from the children (not sure which) on display in the Lavatory and cabin. you can instantly tell how important family is, something that some folks forget when they become busy and wealthy. i just found out about this, (been out of touch with news / media) and i am so sorry for them for the loss. thoughts and prayers. Michael
