    Hi Marcel,
Here are 2 photos of 045 S as it appears today (seen earlier on this thread in the Road & Track ad).
Many of Michelotti's design features were incorporated into this very early Vignale bodied Ferrari.

I´ve seen so many pictures of Ferraris racing in Argentina that when I see a new one I´m like a kid with a new toy.

    Thanks Ivo,

0071S is owned by my friend Federico Álvarez Castillo from Argentina.
The car is currently in Italy.
I will see it next February and make a photo session.
I´ll post some if there is some interest.

    Thanks for sharing.
    Regards.

sn0071S is a disgrace. It has left the factory and not been looked after at all from the picture. Hopefully the engine has been "properly" maintained. It is fine to have a car with "patina" but has anything been done for this poor relic. Even a high quality painting (Rembrandt , Picasso etc) is given restoration attention and cleaned on a regular basis.

I like the car as it is WITH patina!

I really love 0071s, just because it has been used and has been enjoyed for almost all of its life.
Every scar or blemish adds to its history.
One of the coolest Ferrari's in the world!

I hope it will stay like this : original on the outside and the inside and good mechanicals.
A real drivers car and much nicer than some garage queens.

    Disagree.
The car has always been in good hands.
Paintings cannot be driven so the case is different. Hang a car on the wall, don´t drive it and it will become a static morphological expression, and not a car anymore.
This car, used not abused, shows its history in its flesh.
I like it, and I understand you don´t.
    Regards.
    Cris.-

    Hans.
Federico Álvarez Castillo understands clearly the importance of not restoring the car.
    Regards.
