The Monaco Thread!

I was wondering if you guys could give me some input on this thread? http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=138296714 My wife gave me tickets the the Monaco Grand Prix for Christmas, and I have no idea of what to to, what not to do, where to stay, where not to stay, etcetera. So if you guys could chime in on the thread I posted in the France section would appreciate it.

Stay at the hotel de paris. Its right by the casion and a stones throw away from harbor.

We ended up booking a place in Nice at the hotel Le Royal. I tried to get a place in Monaco but there was either no availability or they wanted waaaaaaaay too much money than I was willing to spend on a room, just because of the race.

 

Make sure you go to Monaco VERY early the day of the race/qualifying. Traffic can be...ahm...problematic

I kind of figure it would be, so............... I think we will be taking the train in. I really don't want to be fighting traffic nor attempting to find parking.

Doesn't the Hotel de Paris require like a weeks stay during GP week? I can't imagine the rates.

I can't wait to get Monaco one day. The glamour, beauty, and excess of luxury is stunning. For some reason, I though Monaco has strict photography laws in regards to privacy and such.

 

Hello,I'm back from Monaco to the past new years eve,I saw a superb F40!!!
This car is incredible and fantastic!!!
I have seen many sportscar but the F40 is unique!!

I live in Monaco since 1975, but, the pic with red Ferrari, I don't know this place, are you sure that it's Monaco ?
