I guess starting bid at $150k is reasonable, thanks. I saw an 05 manual 430 go for $135k on Ebay, that is amazing...

The new Tampa Bay Ferrari dealer offered me $145K for my car and they are not buying coupes now. I think they need to be a little less offensive on Ferrari values. For a car that stickered at $225K, $145 is insulting.

Not trying to pick a fight... and I have no sense of 430 market price today,... but what price would you feel isn't insulting? What can an AD expect to get for a 2007 car currently? If they gave you 155K, and then sold for 175K is 20K profit too much for the "risk" of talking the car off your hands. Is $175 a sure sell at a dealer? I doubt it somehow...

Evidently that dealer has informed you of the current wholesale value of your car. Too much supply, too little demand and the abysmal economy, they wont be offering you that much in a few months.

I was at the Wynn in Vegas last week and the F dealer there offered me $140K trade in on my 12mo. old Spider with 6K miles. Sticker was $236K. with 6spd. That was towards a 599 for $300K

I was offered $185K by one south dealer and north region dealer. My car only has 980 miles on her.

One question for all the market experts here. Will the extremely limited 2008 USA allocations, will that be enough to firm the prices of used 430 cars?

The Vegas dealer has a definite history of being way over priced - just check out their web site for used vehicles

    No.

Downward pressure is on all production late model Ferrari's, with the current few buyers, plenty of cars avail scenario ongoing. An example below from a known dealer here who posts. 05 models with a few miles have sold in the high 130's$. Enjoy the gorgeous car in your profile. Value is not worth worrying about at all - for now.

When did Tampa get a Ferrari dealer? They never had one when I lived there.

History has shown the devaluation of the preceding model, takes down the superceding model. Meaning, the F430 will fall the way of the 360.

F430's have only one way to go, and that is down.

Hi mike. I've been thinking about a Stradale, but the way the F430's are going I might change my mind!

I already heard from a few people that Ferrari dealers are calling them to try and stimulate a sale. Is this the beginning of the end of "over sticker pricing" ?

Here is a link for a 145k 430 which you could probably pull off for 140k in this economy. It has 15k miles and its a 2005 red coupe.

They claim that business is "strong". Just saw a little video on them on CNN.

Wow '07 for $150K, Yikes. That explains why Honda dropped their $150K supercar, why buy a honda when you can get a Ferrari.

The 430 is one hell of a car and you can get in one today for alot less than a good Stradale. The power is so much better in the 430 but the feel of the CS is just so special. Plus the CS will hold iits value alot better. Depends how much you will drive in and what you want the car for. I would go CS all day

It's amazing how the values of F430s have tanked badly... a F430 for $140K with less than 500 miles? WOW

You know someone paid at least $230K for it ~18 months ago.

How much will it be in another year? I'm going to guess $100K then I'll finally have one sitting in my garage.
