Hello All, my name is Gabe and I have been lurking for the last few weeks. This site is great. I find myself on here everyday. I am 25 years old and have been a Ferrari enthusiast for as long as I can remember. I am currently in graduate school and look forward to owning my own Ferrari soon.

I have been spending a lot more time reading and learning about Ferrari's over the past couple months. I have been obsessed for over 10 year and I'm finally getting close to Ferrari ownership. I'm 28 and work as an accountant at a private equity management firm in Seattle. I have long history of sports car ownership and currently have a 350z, MR2 and the crotch rocket Ninja ZX6R.

The more I read the more excited I get about the prospect of working on my own Ferrari. My dream car is a 95 355 GTB yellow/black, although I could see myself in a 348 or 360. No F1 transmissions though, I need a clutch and shifter to be happy. No spiders either, I'm all about the hardtop.

Anyways, just have to add that I love this forum. My girlfriend is already getting jealous of how much time I spend on here.

Well I guess I'm a lurker. I've posted a few questions looking for info when I bought, sold, and bought another 308. I'm 47, live in Carlsbad, CA, fly airplanes for a living, and I've had my second 308 for almost a year. I'm still enjoying it as much as when I first got it, and keep wondering what I could/should do to it to make it better. (Or just leave it alone).

Hey guys my names Tony, I'm 19 and I live out in Cincinnati, OH. I'm well aware my chances of owning a Ferrari are very slim, but I do have a long future ahead of me so who knows! I go to the University of Cincinnati and like everyone else on here I'm a fan of these beautiful cars. There's 2 around here that I see occasionally and both of them amaze me each time I see them. I drive an 03 mr2 spyder so I guess I'm on the right path towards one of these bad boys in the future lol. Anyways just thought I'd say hey and not be an unintroduced lurker on here.

I've been a semi-lurker for a number of reasons, partially cause the F-car was out of reach. Business has been good and '09 just may be the year for me to pull the trigger. 355 prices are becoming very attractive and having had the experience in driving an F-car for the first time, I'm hooked. I purchased my last toy after seing it on E-bay, a 1987 Porsche 930 cab. Yep, it's as nasty as can be. I will not purchase sight unseen and am looking for the right one. I do have a concern with the chassis flex of the open cars with adequate wheel power, but the open cars are fun. I am looking forward to communication within this forum in the future.

This is a great asset to the ferrari community and the depth of information is absolutely fascinating. I have Quattroporte and a BMW Z8. I plan to add an early F430 coupe later this year. I look forward to having something worth contributing!

 

Hello everyone just saw this thread and figured I might as well jump in and say hi. My name is Matt and I live in the Denver Metro area. I have always loved the Ferrari F40, it was the car of many teen age dreams. I joined this site to learn everything about my dream car that I can. Seeing as I am a local cop I don't see my earnings ever quite meeting the cost out lay required to own a real F40 but we all have to have our dreams!

I have been building cars since I was 14 and have a long history with Mopars, Mustangs in the past couple of years I have built a XJS and a completely custom Stealth RT/TT. I sold my Stealth a while ago and am trying to figure out what to do for my next project/toy. Well that's me in a nutshell,

Hey Tony- I was 18 and going to UC back in the fall of '79 when I came upon a Motor Trend magazine that featured an article on the Ferrari 308, Corvette, and Porsche 928. That was when I fell in love with the Ferrari. Still have that magazine, and now I have the car. Hope yours doesn't take quite as long to get, but it's nice to have something to look forward to.--JK

Hi, my name is Ryan, I live in Oregon. Just picked up a 1990 348 TS. Always wanted a Ferrari, but never thought I could afford one. Now I own one! Crazy! For all of you Ferrari enthusiasts out there who love the cars but don't own one, I'm living proof that Ferrari ownership is within just about everyone's reach at some point in life. Just be patient and don't let the fear of pulling the trigger on the purchase keep you from living the dream.

I'm excited to be part of the forum. Already been reading like a madman trying to find fixes for a few nagging problems.
