I've just went through all 145 pages on this thread. Wow, there are some great garages among us. Very inspiring too! John, I must say that yours was the one that tickled my imagination the most. I've saved the photos you've posted for my "mood board" :)

and I think we're all very privileged here....

Nice garage from the US East Coast...love the idea of a heated forcourt for winter.

After adding another horse to the stable I had to get a lift that would work for my needs to keep my my Italian mistresses safe from garage enviroment and kids that love to just touch and play with things. I researched many companies, asked a lot of questions and ended up purchasing my equiptment thru Garage Equiptment Supply in Moorpark CA. I dealt with Tiffany and let me just say that she knew her stuff inside and out, come to find out she has worked directly with Jay Leno in his garage also.

I chose the Dannmar D-7 4 post lift. It was priced very well based on other lifts and came with many other goodies, they even installed it. It has been a couple of months since I had it installed and I am more than pleased with the performance and have not had any problems with it. I would recomend that you spend a little more money and buy the aluminum ramps instead of the solid metal ones it comes with. Thanks again to Darth550 for his referral on having the garage door raised to accomidate the 2 cars. Works like a champ.

Here are some picts of the Stable before and after and if anyone has any questions please feel free to pm me.

Holy Sh_t, glad you made it through.

I am still hung up on this sentence "then into a brick wall ( which didnt slow us down much by the way)".

Although I can understand that the wall didnt slow you down that much. I just cannot get over the paraphrase, as I was not the one that went throught it.

    God Bless you, Sincerely Vic

Getting in and out is actually pretty ease for me. The top drive ramp on the right hand side is all the way to the right to accomidate both the widness of the 355 & Strad and it also doubles as a protectant to the cars because the door willonly open so much (Safety feature with a 3 year old boy) I just put the seats all the way back and slide out.

Thanks I love it too. All the colors are standard, I just designed it to my specs.

The tiles are from Flex Court in Chicago 800-847-4404 ask for Chris Colomer. Flex Court also did the outdoor tiles for my Basketball Court.

The logo was a file a pulled from the internet. I took it to a Local sign shop who digitized it and printed it to a size of 2' x 3' Sticker. I took in the 6 floor tiles and told them the way I wanted it mounted ot the tiles and they did it no problemo.

As an aside, I read that profile on your wife. You must be pretty proud of her - very cool. Congratulations on the garage!
