Blue with cream leather and about 30ish kays was at iPrestige up until about a month ago. Wanted 140 odd for it. Very meticulous previous owner. Probably the best kept 355 in the country.

It was sitting for a while. Much longer than i thought it would. It is the nicest combo you can possibly get on a Ferrari, especially a 355.

Interesting if they got asking price though. I heard you could own it for much lower than what they were asking....

And i wouldnt want to be selling Aston Martins...

Back in the 80's my old man used to race Porsches in the Bridgestone Series. While at the track and other car events I used to take pic's of cars and have attached photos for your interest. I do have heaps more and will post them too when I get some spare time (next Christmas??)

The racing Boxer photos are from Puke circa 86, the 30 od Ferrari's lined up on the Puke grid was in celebration of Enzo's death - so cira 87, the 3 Toasta and 2 Boxers photos are from a late 80's Ellerslie Concourse.

Great pics. Thanks for sharing them.

Didn't know Enzo was that unpopular. But, what do I know? Looked through the whole thread and can't see a spotted one anywhere.

Look closely at the cars in the background. Can you see anything that isn't English?

Would be nice to think that somebody in the UK appreciated the Kiwis for their loyalty (not to mention military sacrifice) but the reality is they couldn't care less.

    cannon fodder

they didn't think that much better of their own

my grandmother from Reading taught me a healthy disrespect of the English army generals but she did romanticise about the WWI aerial dogfights, gave me my love of aviation

You must have noticed that while in the UK the Brits refer to all antipodeans as Kiwis .... I asked about that and they said that the Kiwis get very anti if you accidently call them Aussies whereas we could care less ... they reckon that Aussies and Kiwis had chips on their shoulders, just ours were on both shoulders :D

Great Pics kiwi 308. Are you familiar by any chance with any of the Ferrari owners of the late 80's in Auckland? If so pm me, would like to track someone down if I can.

I remember going to Pukie, wasn't a race day just a track day from memory. I recall a guy driving a 308 which blew the engine or did some damage down the front straight. Would have been around 87-88. He had a beard. I will always remember this chap as that was my dream car and always dreamed of one day putting a 308 on the track. ITs funny how some things you never forget. Seeing him having fun was a bit of inspiration for me, particularly when he took the time to talk to a 20 year old at that time.

Said something like "Nice car" out the window of mine yesterday. Was sitting waiting at that damn shopping center again, when a new Ford pulled in beside me.
You should've seen this guy run! I think he thought he was going to be mugged. He said something with an american accent but I couldn't catch what as he scampered off.
What a pity to be so out of your depth in another country that you can't appreciate when the locals are friendly.
