Hey, I could use 1,000hp to pull big stumps out of the ground on the farm. So much more fun than a tractor, or even dynamite.

I guess the Murci has been around for awhile so I hope the next V12 is really, really something.

I don't for sure but be willing to bet, all those calling for 750 HP and more don't even own cars. Most real owners realize this is pretty useless and insignificant to the overall ownership experience.

This is what I received from my local Lamborghini dealer:

I am writing you today to personally invite you to an exclusive presentation of a very special Lamborghini.

You are about to discover several months before its official unveiling not only the most expensive Lamborghini available but also the fastest and the most powerful Lamborghini ever produced. This limited edition Lamborghini with its uncompromising design is extreme and very performance oriented.

Several of our executives including myself will present this uncompromising supercar on Monday, January 12th at the MGM Grand Hotel in Detroit, to a few privileged persons like you. We would be happy to discuss the details of the new vehicle and will give you a sneak preview through a scale model.

We hope you will be able to join us!

I take the opportunity to wish you and your family a Happy New Year.

    Sincerely,

    Stephan Winkelmann
President and CEO Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A.

Call Heffner then if you want a 1,000hp Lamborghini. 640 horses in the Murcielago is already a lot to handle for those who aren't use to such a car.

At the private preview, the car Lamborghini will be showing is not a real car but a 1/4 scale model.
