I received a really nice GF grill for Christmas. What is best cooked on this thing? How do you make the GF grill work for you?

Just for the Halibut? You bet!

Proof positive Meatloaf does not have to be thick and greasy.

Thick, tender cuts also emerge happy campers.

Like Darth, I also enjoy chicken breasts - even bone in - take a rolling pin to one and see how far your can stretch it. Then ask - what would a Filipino, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Spaniard, etc. do with GFG and this chicken?

You'll find certain spices and cuts positively sing nothing but high notes together using this method, perhaps moreso than compared to others. Liberally rubbed Spade L Ranch Pork Chop & Rib Seasoning on boneless Country Style pork ribs, for example. Just a monster.

Don't laugh at this product... George made a fortune over it -- much more than from boxing. Good for good ol' George! More power to ya.

I vaguely remember reading in the WSJ that Salton bought him out for $160M.

I'm not laughing. I can see how my ground meat patties stuffed w/ mushrooms, onions, & peppers will be so much better on the GF grill than fry pan. Need some chicken breast recipes for the grill. I can eat grilled cheese sandwiches all day but they are so good in the pan w/ lots of butter due to minimal thickness.

    Karen.......

Had mine for 5-6 years now.

Steak sucks....but large burgers (1/2" thick ones) work great from frozen, small ones do not......as do slightly thawed chicken breasts.

I also do panini in it.

Makes GREAT Tilapia! Put some lemon pepper seasoning on your fish, throw it on the grille...very tasty.
