first time for me. Why would someone do that? Is it really possible to have enough money to afford that car but not be smart enough to transport it properly?

Let's hear another chorus of 'that clutch is easy to master' and 'all you need is a bit of practice'. Right....

This was discussed over at jalopik for a bit and the overall opnion was they were using crappy boards to get the car on the truck.

It has nothing to do with the quality of the wood.

My loading ramp is aluminum. It is also attached so it won't slip. Two bad choices.

Uhh I think you misunderstood, the whole setup was a crappy way of putting a 400k car on a truck.

There were at least six men standing there, I think having them push it up onto the trailer would've been more effective.

that was just a little bit retarded!

Hope I can get a super porsche, F40, or enzo before they are all destroyed by morons. - bit of an over statement, but that was just sad.

It might just be me, but most (AKA .....all) of the "flat-bed" hualers I've seen have winches with which they could have used to get the car on the bed.

While we don't know the actual circumstances of the attempted to load this CGT.... (vis-a-via...why such a crowd??), why would a (reasonable person) with a running/driving CGT need to have a lousy couple of 2x12's and some 4x4 blocks to help them load the car....???

IMO, STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES..."sir"!

It's my experience, that those with the most money (& I have worked for them) don't always have the most brains...... decide for yourself.
