To support Ferrari (;)) I am looking at using Etihad on my next business trip to Germany, leaving mid February, returning mid March.

The return flight has me landing in Dubai at 1930hrs and flying out at 1015hrs the next morning (15 hour stopover). As a result of this stopover, I am thinking of staying an extra day (or 2) in Dubai to give me a full day to have a look around. Dubai looks like a fantasic place based on what I've seen in doco's on TV.

Any recommendations of what I could do for a day would be greatly appreciated. Is there anything special that I should ensure I see during this quick pit stop.

    Thanks in advance.

    B27.

Ethiad will be landing in Abu Dhabi not Dubai. Dont worry though as its only about an hours drive to Dubai.

Things to do (in no particular order):
Mall of Emirates - Great for car spotting and indoor ski slope (real snow!)
    Atlantis Hotel
    Burj al Arab Hotel
    Dessert Safari (a must!)
    Ferrari world (if its open)

Mall of Emirates - Great for car spotting and indoor ski slope (real snow!) --> **Alternatively, you could head over to the newly opened Dubai Mall as well (Giant Aquarium with sharks).
Atlantis Hotel --> On the Palm Island which is a sight to see in itself.
Burj al Arab Hotel --> Right next to the Jumeriah Palm
Dessert Safari (a must!)--> A TON of fun.
    Ferrari world (if its open)

    - These are all great suggestions from Modificata

Dubai has some traffic congestion issues, so plan accordingly. Stay the extra days (if you can), there is lots to do.
If you'd like to head out to a lounge/club at night, Barasti is a great place to hang out and meet people (big aussie crowd too).

If you're interested in car spotting/window shopping, go over to Al Owair. Its basically one huge automotive showrooms area where you'll find Enzos, MC12s, Veyrons, Reventons, Zondas, and any other exotic you can think of! All are for sale!!!

I think it's like a 20 minute drive from Dubai.
