    Hi

Well if your English is not very well my Swiss is dead. LOL

Yes, I know what you mean about the Superperformance 16 wheels, they just don't look good without the convex face.

I have been looking for original 16's for 2 years now, a set of 4 did come up in Harrow, in the UK near me for 650 BP, I should have grabbed them but, that month something on the house had come up which needed sorting, those wheels also had good NCT's on them.

Ferrari Parts/Breakers are just taking the 'Michael' asking 300 BP for a rim only and the rim will also need refurbishing, yeah yeah yeah so they are mag/alloy MR Breaker and you are a chancer also.

    Welcome to Ferrarichat!

Usually, the 3.2/t original equipment 16" wheels are often a little more expensive than the Superformance 16" wheels. I would try at Eurospares or TRutlands for original 16" wheels. If you would like, the 17" wheels from the 348 fit well and are usually very inexpensive, common on EBay, and only require longer lugbolts from FChat sponsor Hill engineering.

Good luck and welcome to the club!

I just bought a set of 16" Superformance wheels for my '83 Mondial and I think they look GREAT. They also come with center caps! And add to that the quality of the paint finish and they look so good that I don't know who I trust to mount the new tires. :p

rick -wheels in boxes in the garage... :-o

rolindsay - if you like them that is all that matters, I just prefer the convex face of the originals it looks better to me.

My understanding is the 308/328 offset is NOT the same as the Mondial application. I cannot speak to exact specifics...

I'd say American salvage dealer "TRutlands" is a good bet, let them know you need them they dismantle a LOT of cars. If not on hand, they'll turn some up soon!!!!

The (last year) 1989 328GTS would have ABS system most likely, hence the concave shape required.....

They would probably physically fit, but wouldn't be so great IMO. The front offset is too small so the front wheels would each be moved outward by ~1 inch which messes up the steering geometry a little, and I think looks poor relative to the coachwork. Someone had posted a picture of a Mondial with 308 wheels mounted (which have an even smaller offset of +11mm), but I can't seem to find it -- does anyone have it handy to repost?
