I honestly don't understand how this is proof of that the Mondial looks good.

To my eye, the 3.4 Mondials in black look best, as they have the most contemporary looking wheels combined with the illusion of bumpers that match the body color.

This white thing with white wheels looks very dated.

On a positive note, it's very clean!

Looking past the color as I made the comment. When the package is right even yellow passes.

I live in Vancouver, Canada and am still shopping for a Mondial t. The ad says Arizona. You're off by a few thousand kilometers.

Of course, before trying to slam on others, one should at least try and not misplace and misuse apostrophes

Don't like white wheels on any car. But heck, don't go by me. I don't like 348 wheels on the Mondial either, and everyone seems to love to do that!

The car was for sale last year by Luxury Motors in Las Vegas. The car had no books, records, etc., and was listed at $23,000. I was speaking with a "Sabastian" regarding purchasing the car, and had offered $22,000 for it, but someone got it first. I have to admit I was a little slow pulling the trigger as I was asking a LOT of questions because of the reputation that the dealership had.

I love the looks of this white Mondial Coupe. (I agree with most in that the wheels have to go.) I would also have all of the black bits painted body color, and the car lowered a little... I've tried contacting the current seller regarding the car via email and voice mail, but haven't heard anything back yet.

I agree. I'm not crazy about 348 wheels on a 348, either. They are relatively inexpensive, however, which is why I think they end up on a lot of Mondials.

When I sift through Ferrari coffee table history books and look back at 400 Superamericas, 500 Superfasts and earlier. I say to myself these look great "now". Might have been always ; could have been eventually. When I see the Mondial 29 years later I can appreciate how good Pininfarina's long term vision was.

I knew I would be in the minority but that's okay... I am use to it... After All I drive a Prugna Mondial coupe!

Anyhow I had a Grand Prix white with white wheels 930 years ago, and my wife had a AWD white with white wheels Talon Turbo. I thought they both looked great too!

    Call me twisted!

Who would have made those wheels available? Totally aftermarket? Or a special option at time of sale?

    Hi,

    John Feeney here (JF308).

I have an 89 Mondial t cab (no automated seatbelts!), 19K miles red/tan, 348 wheels, custom exhaust (original wheels and stock exhaust/cats, too). I previously had a 308 GT4, now the Mondial, and am (hopefully) on my way to a 355. May have found one, so might be starting to get a bit more aggressive with my listing my car.

Are you specifically looking for a Canadian car? or would you consider one from US?

Here is an FChat link to a couple of photos of my car:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=225165

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=227756

I also have a Ferrari "hobby site" with a link to some additional photos.... www.scuderiaautosport.com

Let me know if you might be interested, or if I can help you in any way find your Mondial t. I just helped three other FChatters find their cars through my connections. (85 308 QV and 78 308 GT4 and 77 308 GTB)...

I would guess stock wheels painted white.

Sent you a PM on another topic.
