Pretty funny how the guy can just fall asleep anywhere. Wish I could do that!

...I guess the guy acts just like he is, regardless of politicaly correct or not...

and that is fine with meas long as he comes back in a winning form, both menthaly and physicaly cause last years mid-end season was...well...disturbing.

...I dont know if he has it anymore after being WDC once, he might be fast but commited?...and I guess it takes both to win again, I hope with lesser aero and more mech grip the guy can find a spot to shine again...

He´s one hell of a fast driver...and we need that on both, not just one and a half.

...and I think is the perfect life!!! wake up, take a fast shower, get on your racing gear, hop in and make the fastest lap...but I guess he´ll need to put up a good show to keep on with this...

...if he doesnt deliver, he might not even finish his contract and for sure Alonso will be on that seat waaaaaaay before it gets cold...

and believe me I dont like Alonso...BUT he´s fast, commited and great developer...can we say that about kimmi?

    ...er....nope

Dont be fooled though. F1 drivers have to do seriously hard training to keep optimum weight, and be incredibly fit to be able to deliver until the end of the race.

For sure mate...go ask trulli why Flavio kicked him out after the last turn in that french GP... he just couldnt keep his head aming forward, and was completely dehidrated...Barrichelo passed him for a Ferrari 1,2...in front of half Renault staff and top managment.

...even Michael developed a special machine for exercising his neck while sitting on the car...

I meant was the easy going way of taking things...even when he shouldnt.

...I´d be raging to go and take a lap or two at the new car during the launch...but well, that is just me.

I think from a personality standpoint, there are a lot of parallels between Kimi and Senna-introspective, taciturn, direct, no tolerance for BS, no desire to be part of the media circus.

the difference is, Senna kept the fire going, and Kimi appears to have let it go out.

A couple of years ago there was talk that Kimi's conditioning was on par with with the players in the top professional Finnish Hockey League (SM-liiga). He sometimes trains with them too.

No way. Senna was the ultimate in his time with pushing himself and everyone around him to win and win again. He was known for extra long debriefs and lots of time and effort thrown into racing. Kimi is none of the above - he is just a gifted driver and no more.

"while drivers Felipe Massa, Michael Schumacher, Luca Badoer and Marc Gene conversed in the paddock, 29-year-old Raikkonen was asleep in a car in the carpark."

Sounds like he is trying to escape. IMO the guy's just hanging in for the money and praying/hoping for a turnaround. It certainly doesn't sound like he's doing what it takes to get on the winning track.

I know, read about it constantly that he's still asleep half an hour before the start (I couldnt, the nerves would be killing me!).

Are you sure? To me it seems like a top of the line F1 driver has to be slighter fitter than that. But then I know nothing about hockey...

I doubt most F1 drivers could handle a 60 min game. That is ICE HOCKEY, the kind that MEN play. The kind that can seriously injure you (and has) if you are not fast, agile, strong and durable at the same time.

I don't think we should be bothered about the kinda lift style he leads. We should only care about what he does on the track, and if Ferrari think that he isn't putting enough effort in then they will do something about it, but frankly if htey weren't satisfied then they would of warned him or sacked him already.
