Hey guys, I'm wondering if someone would indulge me.

Having sold the cgt in early fall and instantly regretting it, I'm getting close to replacing it. However, many have suggested to me that I should consider an F40 and I'm wondering if there's is someone here who would consider taking me for a brief, spirited drive.

    Thanks.

8 months too late for me to help...

FWIW, a ride is unecessary. Trust me... it will exceed your expectation.

Drive to Sarasota. Go to the 3700 block of Washington Blvd where the Hurricane Supply store is. There is a red one I see out there every day. The guy who owns it even drives it in the rain. If that car is not there, he also has a matte black 575 with a huge ricer wing on the back.

I bet that's the F40 I saw on I4 near Tampa Bay about 6 months ago. It was drizzling and I said to my buddy that guy is nuts, that thing should be in the garage lol!

Props to him for driving it for sure though!

    Each car is very different.......

The CGT is a much more modern and refined car with better fit/finish and general drivability. Probably much less expensive to maintain the car too, since the CGT is much newer. There are several that have traded hands recently with very low miles at prices in the mid 3's. There seems to be decent CGT's that pop up frequently lately.

The F40 is, by comparison, a much more 'old school' car with a fit/finish that begs you to scratch your head in disbelief. But, it has character, presence, charisma, and an overall 'wow' factor that is like no other car. It is much more 'raw', and is in a class on it's own. Despite some of the shortfalls, the F40 is the pinnicle of automobiles to own. Prices on the F40's vary widely depending upon miles, history, originality, service history, etc.

To the average driver, the CGT is easier to drive fast, but the rewarding driving experience goes to the F40. Finding a good F40 will likely be more difficult than finding a good CGT. Both have suffered in pricing lately, so what you pay today will seem like a deal compared to a year ago. Both cars are amazing, but my vote is hands down for the F40.

Yeah, I see it nearly daily...it's not even a big deal anymore. It's always kinda dirty/dusty...the way it's supposed to be.

My favorite super Ferrari is the F40. I might drop in on him tomorrow if I see it on the way to work and drop off one of my business cards.

    Wow......... !!!!!!!

Someday I would like to buy one........ Pricing got away from me over the past several years when I wanted one. So I just keep hoping they continue to settle back into better buying prices faster than my other investments I would use to buy one keep falling!!
