i like the wheels on this eberlein mondial. does anyone knows specs and trade of it ? and i like the red colour on the bottom. i think i will consider these for mine... french people dont like transformations on the ferrari, but french people are sometimes "" stupid and proud "" .
If anyone knows of anybody looking for a really tip top no issues mondial 3.2, mine's for sale on ferrariads.
Those rims make the Mondial look so beautiful! I usually think the mondial is nice, not beautiful. What a piece of art.
I tried to get info from them ( in English ) but they never replied ... I think you'll have to let them believe you want to buy the car, otherwise they won't give a ... Veilleicht wenn du auf Deutsch schreibst ...
do you mean you called eberlhein and ask them about the wheels ? What a good idea ... i think i did find on BBS what these wheels are but they are pretty expensive. anyway i have now the phone number of someone here who is considered to be a specialist in ferraris and wheels and tyres. I will call him tomorrow and maybe have some new ideas and proposals. to be continued... concerning superformance universal tyres rims, i am not conviced with that, because they put the same size on front and rear, and i consider it is a bad esthetic solution for the car. Mine has original 220 front and 240 rear and i want to keep that. It gives the car some kind of "dragster" or "muscule car" look that fits well.
the wheels are 360 challenge wheels...they are on ebay from time to time for about 2900.... www.ferrari-eberlein.de/ -
Guess what? I JUST RECEIVED THEM TODAY!!! I think they are okayyy ... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here it is! I am so happy about the result, love the finish, love the look and the overall proportions. Just can't wait to put tyres and see the final result ... Enjoy! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Hi snj5! I am now considering Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R and Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec in the Extreme Performance Summer category. I think that a Ferrari should wear the best tire to ensure maximum grip and handling. Treadwear should not be a factor as well as fuel efficiency! Any suggestions guys!?! I too am looking forward to take these photos!!! Thanks for your nice picture, post as many as you would like, I love to see nice Mondial! Do you read this MondialNeil???? Cheers!
You picked the right tire size for sure. Those sizes are a factory Porsche fitment on thousands of their models so the options should be endless. If you really want a great tire that is also easy on the pocket book then look at the Yokohama S-Drive. This tire is race technology on a general passenger car tire price. I have a set on several of my cars and can tell you they are top flight.
well considered, i think i will equipe mine like Russ (snj5) did. please Russ do you have precise ref of your wheels? speedline, right ? 18"? what reference (front and rear please). as I told before i will put 215 tyres in front ( for limiting steering effort ) and probably 245 or something like that at rear. Considering the tyres choice, I want something which is very good on wet floor ( and dry floor also ). On my subaru impreza I have Bridgestone, which is brilliant on those conditions. But the 4WD car is brilliant itself on wet floor ( and snow )... I have ordered a special kit for the interior leather maintenance at the company "Valdour". This kit as the particularity of containing black colour in the cream. I am considering also to paint the bottom of the car in red. will see this in the future. after the wheels. Here is another pic of my "Jessica". her name. Image Unavailable, Please Login
My car has the wheels developed by Speedline specifically for the Mondial based on Ferrari engineering data they recieved as OEM manufacturer. The fronts are 17" x 7.5" and rears are 17" x 8.5". These wheels were available from German Ferrari dealers as a dealer option for the car. I agree that 205 or 215 are quite enough using modern technology rubber for the front. Your choice for a rear 245 section is about perfect as well for a street car with 260 - 300 hp, with 245/45-17 being about exactly right. Everyone has their own favorite tire stories. After having Bridgestone and Michelin Pilot A/S, I went to Michelin PS-2 and am very happy, but I hear the high end Goodyears F1-G3 are very good as well. I also wanted to throw my back end around a bit and make my car a bit loose so I am using the Pilot Sport 2s in 205 front anf 235 rear; Again, I am not tracking the car and it is a lot more fun like this for me, especially with a few more hp. Remember that even from the factory, the Mondial t had 300 hp on 205 front and 225 rear section tires. Pick out a tire that best fits your driving style. Image Unavailable, Please Login
You did pass on that one set, and I think they are more common in Europe. A place called www.garedcars.com used to have them, but would check Speedline european dealers.
