    Incredible car. It's in a completely different league than the CS. Much more exciting to drive than the 599. It is taut, lithe and jumps off the line like a cheetah goosed with a white-hot poker...

    Man, that is hands down the best looking Scuderia I have seen. I'm happy you didn't get the gold wheels and just did the gray ones with the red calipers. Looks perfect, just PERFECT!

    Man that thing POPS! I love the look of the white w/ red stripe! VERY NICE! While I don't have other F-car driving experience I can safely say that the Scud I drove was VERY EXCITING! I would call it the best of the drivers cars of the 5 I drove that day (SuperLeggera, SLR McLaren, Granturismo, and R8)...maybe not the car I would choose as a daily driver, but certainly the dancing partner I would want to have if I was heading out for a FUN DRIVE! The one I drove was like a sauna on the inside...I don't know if that is a trait of the car or that someone had turned the heat up in the car I drove (and we somehow missed how to cool things off), but if that is SOP for a Scud you couldn't live with one in Texas... Way to hot here. Probably has an A/C and we just didn't get it turned on though...

    Congrats on a beautiful car! Excellent color choice.

    I like how the red stripes highlight the red exterior lenses.

    I've softened a little; the reality is that for resale they're pretty much demanded, so you could take a big hit if you don't order them. Also, on the street cars that are track-oriented (like the F40, F50, CS, Scuderia etc) they seem more appropriate (and Ferrari probably make them standard on the Scuderia for this reason). Since they're standard, I didn't think about it too much with this car. If I was ordering, say an F430 replacement, then I'd probably still spec it without the shields...

    Thanks everyone for the compliments.
    I can't believe how happy I am with this car. The 599 was exciting, but this is a whole other dimension.
    It has exceeded every expectation I had. I was expecting CS+, but this is CS+++.


    My friend Jason came with me to pick up the car, he is a very talented photographer. I will ask him to share some pics here once he's back from Tahoe....
