Clarkson (Top Gear) says it's faster around the Ferrari test track than an Enzo.

I don't know about white being the new black and all that jazz - I wouldn't go that far. :)

But yours is one of - if not THE most - stunning Scuderias I've seen thus far. White is bold for a wide car, but the Scuderia wears it well (the nose plays!); the red stripes and calipers make it seem surreal. I feel like I'm looking at CGI. I can only imagine what the car must look like in person (care to drive it to NY so I can have a look-see?). :)

Hot damn! You're always taking a risk when you order a unique colour scheme, but this time it really worked. Gorgeous

Thanks. No, Carb, I don't think I'd like to drive it coast-to-coast (and back), but if you find yourself in the Emerald City sometime soon, you're welcome to some seat-time :)

That's funny right there, I don't care who y'are, that there is funny! ;)

    Thanks Mark, Tarek.

    A few more driving impressions.

I didn't think that the transmission in the F430 could be improved upon, it seemed perfect. But the transmission in the Scuderia is phenomenal. I was expecting the faster up-shift times to be impressive, and indeed they are, and the visceral punch to the kidneys at 8,500rpm at WOT is staggering. What I didn't expect were all the other improvements to the transmission systems. Gentle application to the throttle for parking and nudging through traffic is now buttery smooth, like a limousine driver with 30+yrs of experience. Down-shifts under any conditions are similarly greatly improved; there is never any drivetrain harshness when down-shifting, the rpm-matching is always perfect, and there's never any sense of engine-braking even when you're coasting and hit the down-shift. The "auto"-mode is actually now not bad at all, quite usable actually ... not that I'd relinquish control to the computer voluntarily myself.

I don't care what the numbers say, or what reality is, I bought this car for the excitement of driving it. It *feels* like it's twice as powerful as the F430. It inspires confidence. Every time you push the car and yourself, it seems to wink at you and say "that was easy! why don't you push a little harder next time!". The 599 felt like it was luring you into a trap. The Scuderia always feels like it's inviting you to dance. Squeezing the throttle always feels like it produces prodigious amounts of thrust RIGHT NOW, whatever gear you're in, accompanied with the most incredible "basso profondo, fortissimo" music. The CS requires that you keep the RPMs up above 4,000rpm to have access to its power band. Some prefer the CS's alto-wail, more reminiscent of an F1 car, but I prefer the ANGRY GOD OF THUNDER that is invoked when poking the right pedal in the Scuderia.

The seats in the CS felt about as comfortable as sitting on a park-bench after about an hour. The seats in the Scuderia are supremely comfortable, and hold the occupant very securely. What's more, it's not necessary to use the "one cheek in, adjust, second cheek in"-procedure that is required to get into the CS's seats.

Wow, that is the first time I've ever seen a Bianco Scuderia before. Very beautiful car and it makes me quite jealous. I see you live in Wa state. I used to live near Silverdale which is on the other side of Puget Sound. I'm actually scheduled to fly up there for a wedding next month as well. Care to take me for a ride sometime...haha? But in all honesty, that's the best looking Ferrari I've seen in a while.
