    Hi all:

Please excuse me if this is the wrong forum to express this.

I am looking to purchase a building to store and show a car collection (of 10-15 cars). The perfect spot would be a 3,000-5,000 square foot brick building with high ceilings and an overhead door. I live in the North Suburbs, and would like something along the CNW Metra train line (so I can get there without bumming a ride). Evanston, Ravenswood or Rogers Park would work well as long it is within 6 blocks of the train station. I can be creative on the space, location or configuration and thought I would solicit the group for ideas. I would like to turn this into nice place for get togethers (perhaps with the FChat Chicago folks) with brick walls, loft ceilings, wood floors, flat screen (for F1 races), etc.....you could really have fun with this if I could find the right place.

    Thanks in advance.

Also, I know of one in Palatine. What are your specs?

There's a recently-vacated building around the corner from my business in North Wrigleyville, across from the Red Line (if Chicago is in play). Prior to the last tenant the space was an auto garage, and the buidling owner has since used it for baseball parking. He's desperate to do something with it and would gladly entertain offers. And in this area it's a sure thing to appreciate/hold value.

Sorry for the delay. I would like it near one of the CNW train stops (West Loop, Ravenswood, Rogers Park, Evanston etc.)

    Thanks.

Well, this one is very near the Metra station in Palatine. I'm also looking for a new storage facility.
