Pots/pans hitting floor, loud metal clanks/crashes.
Screaming kids. There's no joy in listening to high-pitched shrieking, regardless of what the lazy parents think.
I hate that really loud sound that semi-trailer rigs make when they decelerate down long slopes. I also hate the sound of all music of the Whitney Houston / Mariah Carey genre, involving long, loud, drawn out displays of vocal "talent". My third choice would be having to listen to studio audience cheering, of the "WOOOOOHOOOOOOO" type, as heard on all TV chat shows.
Jake brake!! I used to get those all the time when I lived at the outskirts of town. The sign that says 'no unmuffled engine braking - $500 fine' do absolutely nothing.
When I was in college I lived near a fairly sharp curve on the Interstate. With no A/C, I slept with the windows open. All F*&^ING night I would hear those stupid Jake Brakes go off. it sounded like a semi was going to come through the front door. Every time I hear one now I am reminded of that dump I lived in. Another one that drives nuts is the default sound settings in Windows that clicks when you hit the mouse and makes other cute noises as you work. Very annoying.
One of the worst. Along with people blowing their nose at dinner and dogs barking. Listen to the album "Absolution" by Muse. You might change your mind
I forgot one but was reminded tonight. That sloshy splat sound of a half full coke from McDonalds hitting the back floorboard of the car while driving.
Nails on a chalkboard, Used to be my favorite sound, but now my least favorite...whistle tips...wooo wooooooooo!
The sound of walking on packed snow. Or walking on the snow in ski boots. I get the shivers just thinking about it.
Muse is great! I absolutely can't stand the sound of children crying. The whining, the bawling the screaming - it's insufferable. Next to that, the sound of padless calipers biting into once-smooth rotors has a tendency to dust off my tear ducts. Also, I happen to like the Jake brake.
Well, as they say, old is gold. the only new stuff i have from nowdays music is trance and balearic tunes. My rock and RnB are all old stuffs, Beatles, CCR, Aerosmith, Scorpions, Bon Jovi, Metallica, etc...
My wife telling me to get off of the computer and go to bed. Only when I know something else isn't happening Besides that - COUNTRY MUSIC
I love the Muse, the song Knights of Cydonia is a great song! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjZEOEKr-DI
