I'm in the top 499 already, and am really looking for a top fivish car. #4 would be perfect, as my wife likes that number. Thinking about it, any number divisible by four would be ok, the 44th VIN would be excellent, my wife would be happy and I could still humble the trailing 455 owners. I'm probably not a player for #1, that guy from Jamiroquai will get it, or the Pink Floyd dude, somebody like that will get it even though I'm every bit as passionate as those guys and probably more deserving.

This is not a joke, the car is not mine. I just have a spot available that is all. This is for a US spec car and you will need to customize whatever options you will want. This is so you don't have to pay for the markup from the US dealer, but the car will be delivered by a US Ferrari dealer. The only mark up for the car is what you pay for the spot. Just throwing this offer out here for you guys if anyone is interested. I don't accept payment until your paper work is in progress with an US Ferrari dealer. This is suppose to be a favor from F.

I'm now aiming for a 430 since the prices dropped so steep, so it's now in an affordable range for me.

If you have a spot for Scud Spyder (isn't this the 16M?), but you are "now" in the market for an affordable 430, there is a contradiction.

The 16M is pricer than the 430, especially a used 430. Your post implies that you can 'now' afford the 430 because of a price decline so, it implies that you are moving UP. But the 16 M would be a move up from a used 430. If you can now afford the 430 because of price declines, you would have only half of a 16M.

Or, is it just late at night and I missed something?

I believe, and I could be wrong as well, that he's representing the fact that he has access to a 16M spot and is offering to sell it. He personally has no intention (or the means) on buying that individual car.

How does one obtain a "spot" for a 16M if one has never owned a Ferrari? A vehicle of limited production is usually offered to clients who are repeat customers, not someone who is in the market for a 360 but then in a market for a 430 because prices dropped, then all of a sudden has a "spot" for a 16M. Also, did you have to put down any money in order to reserve this so called "spot" you speak of? I may be wrong, but I doubt that if you walk into your Ferrari dealer and say "hey can I have a spot in line for a 16M?" and you don't put down any $$$$$, I doubt your "spot" in line will be saved.

Oh on a separate note to everyone, I have a "spot" to buy a bridge in New York, if anyone wants my "spot" please send 1 Million Dollars (as Dr. Evil would have said it) to Nigeria and I will send you the title and then you own it baby!

Just my thoughts, I may be wrong, and please correct me if I am, but if I am wrong at least I still got a shot at selling that bridge.

    Mike
