Pics: Black carpets in a Tan interior

I got new black mats for my 355 and am really liking the idea of having the entire carpet swapped out for black.. anyone here do that before? or have pics of what it will look like? thanks

I am thinking of a complete change from black to tan. Sounds like I'm going against the grain here but I have always liked the red and tan combo. Any takers, let me know.

 

I have the tan interior with black aftermarket mats. Looks much better and I have seen pics on this site with the black carpets as well.

Cost to switch is probably $$$.

 

I have tan carpets in my Navigator.......NEVER again. They are impossible to keep clean. One day after cleaning, and they are a mess.

I always recommend flopping out the colors. For instance, black carpet, tan mat / black horse or red horse. Tan carpet, Black Mat / tan horse. It contrasts really nice with the dash and door panels.

Tan mats are IMPOSSIBLE to keep clean, UNLESS you remove when you enter the vehicle. I see a lot of people do that.

I know what you mean. I have a Rosso corsa/tan. I am really considering buying a black carpet set and using leatherique dye to dye my leather black. IMHO, nothing looks better than Rosso corsa and black. My 308s/328 were all that color combo. No matter how much I looked, I could not find the "right" F355 Berlinetta with a 6-speed in that color combo.

 

Although he's all about black, the guy is an angel.

 

I have black mats with the Scuderia Shields and Tan Piping on them...

Looks good! I have the same mats, I think, in tan.

 

I replaced the sun faded tan with black. Much better IMHO.

Who did your custom door speaker panels? Did you have it done or did you buy the car that way.

 

Had it when I bought the car.
It has the door panel speakers in matching leather, and 2 sub woofers in matching leather right inbetween the seats,
along with 2 amps in the front trunk.

At half volume the stereo could set off car alarms.... shame that I almost never turn it.

 

Not my car, but a picture of a 348 with tan interior and black carpet. I like the look of Gandalf's black base carpet with black mats and black door inserts posted above.

............ I agree your interior looks the business ......... but if your tan carpets were black too ..... like gandalfthegray's 348 above ......... it would be even more stunning ..........

To swap carpets. Any ball park estimates? I found a red/tan 308 with red carpets. I would swap them for tan or black. How much?

 

That is what I was wondering...if two or three of us went in from the same manufacturer....anyone? anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
