    Ty Corporation, the company who brought us Beanie Babies, is releasing two new dolls named "Sasha" and "Malia". These dolls are darker skinned and have dark hair. When questioned, the company stated that these dolls are merely dolls with lovely names and are in no way influenced by the daughters currently residing in the White House. OK. And I'm sure when the girls finally get their dog Sparky, the company will coincidentally release a Sparkie doll too. Just, you know, because they think it's a cute name for a dog. Why do I care? Who the hell knows.

    They are just trying to keep their $6 billion profit since 1994 going, but they shouldn't use children in my view.

    Everyone else who markets to children does. In terms of violations/ wrong doings, this is monir is every degree.

    I don't mean children in general, but capitalizing on the Obama girls and denying it. But I dunno for sure.

    I meant children without real identities. For example, Jimmy Neutron.....Dora the explorer....it was my mistake for *not* going into further detail.

    I thought you meant advertising in general towards kids, which of course can go too far but the Obama kids can do some good.

    Yea they will generate good sales, but Ty Corp isn't going to give the girls a share of it LOL.... hence why I think using children is wrong because they don't have the business sense to care.
