The slant nose flachbau M506 RoW factory cars, will be worth a lot of money, during the next collector car boom - ten-fifteen-twenty years from now. The biggest sleeper of all, is the 1981 factory special wishes car, with the special front-end, that was not available with the later cars (the top and bottom picture). I have no idea, how many of the 935 type front end (2nd picture), the factory built, in the early 80's. In my opinion, these two cars, have some of the best investment potential, at some point in the future. I imagine, the few original cars, are very difficult to locate. The teenagers in the 80's, who all wanted these cars, are at the point where they can obtain them (assuming a good economy). You also do not have too many rare hi-performance factory P cars, that are priced reasonably. I would like to find, a 1981 special wishes factory car (the first pic and last pic). The red car, is owned by an enthusiast in the U.K. He still has the car. I guess this is the car, you are talking about ? It is like the 1950's Chevy El Morocco ? Good luck finding one of those. damn. Also note, the factory green 930 interior from Germany. Too kewl ! Hmmmm, I'm still trying to figure out how I missed this thread! Here's a pic of a couple of my girls.. current 930 in Petrol Blue, One of my former 930's in Diamond Blue Metallic. At least it was sold to a friend and I still get to drive it when I visit! So what'd ya think "onboost" meant on Ferrari forum? Paul Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I love the Porsche 930s .. It was one of the greatestest markes of the Porsche era. The most demanding and thrilling Porsche's to drive. Once the rear end broke loose you had to catch it and gun the hell out of it in the corners. The Turbo's screamed at full song. The best Porsche ever and yes very very Fast.... I want one bad... john
The blue flachbau is really kewl ! The factory flachbau cars are undervalued. The early M506 RoW cars, are quite scarce. So much for so little.
Here you go Mike I'll post more with the "special wishes" additions from the factory Image Unavailable, Please Login
OK, chrome twin tip dual exhaust? nah left side acts as wastegate for the factory K27, larger intercooler. Both ideas RUF used in their cars. ashtray in driver's door panel LED boost gauge center console that RUF again used, note PORSCHE crest tabs on the underdash map compartments other stuff not picked up in the pic - rear sidemarker has a pinwheel display, fold down armrest, earlier posted pic has the 934 oil cooler shown up front all minor touches, but factory additions that make this "special wishes" 930S unique Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks Mike You should know-you've got one of my ex's, one of the most over the top, insanely custom restored exotics on the planet
What an awesome Slantnose! Looks great... really phenominal. I've said it before, but those Slant noses really tickle me something funny I wondered, as I thought that Mangusta looked familiar
