    Day 34

Al's just had another Ferrari delivered. It's a 360CS owned by another friend of mine who's having the front end resprayed for cosmetic reasons. You can see it in the background in a couple of the pictures. He's now working on 4 Ferrari's at the same time and I belive he has a couple more waiting to come in as well.

    Al says...

"Headlamp pods flatted down & polished, all fitted & aligned along with side skirts."

All I can say is "WOW".

BTW Al, ever been to California? i can think of a half a dozen Ferrari owners who would finance your stay here to paint their Fcar. Me being one.

Also, what is wet primer? Is it a primer surfacer?

So true. For that price he'd easily get a dozen customers.

Where can we find a shop for him with a sealed paint booth???

Prices out here are at least 4x for that type of workmanship.

You sir, are a consummate professional. This is, without a doubt, the finest paint job I have ever seen. In a world of mediocrity, it's wonderful to see someone who strives for perfection.

I can arrange that no problem. It's getting him over here from the UK with tons of business there.

A quality paint job with minimal bodywork would cost you 15K at the least.

It's the "door rear angle piece", Tav 121, item 18, as fitted at the lower rear corner of the door glass.

Carbon sills with the aluminium inserts on the car. thanks to MaCarbon for them.

    Al says..........

"N/s door built up - door glass, catch assy etc, all adjusted & set correctly.

N/s carbon sill in place - looks really good actually :)

N/s roof edge finisher fitted (with correct anodised black rivets - you might have gathered - I have a bit of a 'thing' about using the right rivets!)"
