I went and visited the Callaway C16 at Straight Line Automotive Group near Royal and Webbs Chapel Rd today, it was amazing. They also have a Mercedes SLR McLaren, half a dozen Rolls-Royce Phantoms, a few Astons, and more. Well worth the short trip. Give them a call and go take a look at what they have!
A black F430 Spider in the parking lot of Stuart Paint And Body on Plano Rd. in Dallas this afternoon.
Catching up here.... Red 430 with black top down at Aldo's shop in Rowlett on Thursday around noon. Then a Black Aston something-or-other on Elm downtown a little later. A Black Cherry Maser QP passing through Victory a few minutes later. On Thursday afternoon, a new yellow Maser Coupe on 35 going north past A.A.C.
I believe I know the owner, if that is you Cozzi. It just came back from the Mille Miglia last year and had a rebuild? Wouldn't tell me the exact price but he said he could guess around $300,000.
I drive all of my cars (72 Daytona, 66 Jag Etype Roadster, 52 Tojeiro Sports Race Car, 2000 550, 94 Porsche Speedster). I haven't had the Cozzi long, still working out some carb sync issues before a I take it on a 1000 mile ralley in Arizona in April, so you will see it out on nice weekend days till we get it done. Norwoods is helping out with it when I get stuck with something I can't figure out.
Hey, I found it! It's right behind DD's Discounts at Centerville and Broadway in those business buildings, owner is a dentist! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Before the AC/DC show Friday night, black Murci, could have been a 640, not sure due to the darkness, Black Maser GT, Black Bentley GT at the W. After the show, red 430 with top down at the W.
I thought the same and so I looked to see if he hit it, and it turns out the R8 has this really cool lip under the car that is a perfect cut-out of the curb. He is still brave, but I think he was aware of the situation. Yesterday I saw these over by the Galleria 2 Ferrari 360's (red and yellow) 1 Corvette ZR1 1 Shelby GT500KR 1 Shelby GT500 4-6 Aston Martins 1 Rolls Royce Phantom (Arkansas plates lol) About 5 Maserati Quattroporte's Over 15 Bentleys (I think one was a Cont. GT Speed) Bentley Arnage That's all I remember but the ZR1 was the highlight... got a nice pic
A Maser night.. Spotted dark gray/silver colored Coupe at Margie's Italian restaurant on West Camp Bowie/380, then less than a mile away at Chapel Creek/I-30 spotted a stunning all white Quattroporte..
If a ZR1 I think that is cool, well, for next couple months like the GTR was really cool for a few months.
They are one of the best cars on the road..."FOR THE MONEY". Not a fan, but I can understand why people love them. I wouldn't reach for camera though.
And they wonder why their front lower spoiler is all torn up and falling loose... LOL Did you introduce yourself to the owner? Good catch either way. S
512: The dentist was busy (Dr. Deering btw if you ever need to look it up to find the location). The receptionist walked out and started talking. "It looks way better when I'm driving it..." blah, blah, blah. As far as the Galleria questions, I'm a complete dork. After getting what I need from the Galleria (or failing to find what I need) I'll stand by the edge for 10-15 minutes and just enjoy the cars and weather which usually feels nice up there. But the camera is always handy. It's amazing what drives by in that short amount of time. Never do I come back disappointed though. And the car composition is WAY different than here in Garland. Cont GT's, S-Class, 7-Series and M cars, and Quattroporte's replace the Lexus/Infiniti's that we have here.
WOW, a few minutes ago on Avenue B in Garland, there was an orange Gallardo Spyder driving by Garland High School. Good thing I got released early from work today! Weird place for a Gallardo though, especially in 33 degree weather!
Mabey they're visiting or lost? It is strange, considering the fact that there is usually a monte carlo with tony the tiger painted on the doors and hood parked across from that school ( which is probably the most "exotic" thing you will see around there ). Not the area you would expect anything even remotely close to the Gallardo to be. Good spot!
